The contest I wrote the story for is now closed so I can write without deadlines and word limits.
And guess what? I came 2nd!! I, in all honesty, did not expect this. All the entries were so good!
As promised, I will be releasing a few bonus chapters and extras. These chapters are all linked to the main story and only do the job of looking into and fixing some of the plot points I left open so that I could come back here in the future.
The chapters have no chronological order and are either bits that are extra or from another pov.
One more thing I just remembered that Daniyal is an American-Muslim with Arabic descent only from his dad's side. Sorry if there was any confusion related to his ethnicity. So yeah. In my head personally, his family has been living in America for at least 3 generations and since he is also half white, his following of religion is not well-defined.
