Maddy sat on her bed in her dimly light room. She had one earbud and was listen to some song, she didn't pay much attention to it, while her hands where busy painting her toes.
It was weird for her to do this because her mom literal own and worked at a nail salon. But she had forgot to ask her to do them earlier and so she did them herself. And if she fucked them up she was going to ask her to fix them.
Now the light tapping on her window had already started, but she didn't pay any attention towards it. Being that she was on the second floor and right outside was a big oak tree, she thought it was branch. That was until it kept tapping starting to piss her off. That was till she couldn't handle it anymore.
She closed the nail polish and set it on the nightstand while taking her earbud out, placing it and her phone next to the polish.
Looking out the window she saw the dirt blonde surfer standing in her backyard. She unlocked the window before sliding it open, "JJ?" She yelled but in a whisper tone. "What are you doing here it's almost 2 in the morning?"
"I know, I've been trying to get your attention for the past hour," He said but quickly changed his statement seeing her famous 'oh really' face. "Ok so it was more like 3 minutes but still,"
