You were a new recruit for S-F, put with Cassie Cage and her team. There was an off day on the base, so the whole team was hanging out in Cassie's room, talking, and playing games. Normal teenager stuff.

Cassie even brought out a Oujia board, but everyone was too scared to use it, so it ended up just sitting there on the edge of Cassie's bed.

"Are you guys hungry? I'm starving," Cassie asked, looking around to the other four team members. "Want me to see if my dad will order us something?"

"Sure," Takeda nodded.

Cassie shot a knowing look at Jacqui and Jin, and the two followed Cassie out of her room.

"Well, that was weird," You chuckled nervously. Being alone with Takeda made you very nervous, and flustered, because you did think he was kinda cute. But you also knew Jacqui liked him too.
What you didn't know, is that Takeda liked you back. And even if it was kinda obvious, you were oblivious to it. Until today, that is.

When you and Takeda were left alone, the two of you got to talking.

It felt like about a half hour had passed, when finally the other 3 came back with food.

"You didn't tell her?!" Kung Jin whisper yelled at Takeda. Takeda just shrugged.

More and more time went by, and eventually, everyone started going to their own rooms, and going to bed. You and Takeda walked out at the same time. On your way to your own rooms, you two got to talking again, with Takeda flirting a little bit here and there.

Every time he'd flirt, you'd shrug it off, but would flirt back at least a little bit. When you got to your room, Takeda stopped you.

"Look, I need to tell you something," Takeda said with a sigh. "I dunno if you're gonna feel the same way, but here we go. Y/N, I've liked you for a while now..." Takeda trailed off, not really knowing how to finish the sentence.

"I..." You trailed off as well. "Really?"

"Yeah," Takeda nodded, getting a little flustered. You got a bit flustered too, your face turning bright red.

"I've kinda liked you too,"

"Awesome..." Takeda gave you a fist bump and you couldn't help but laugh. Then he leaned down to kiss your cheek saying, "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Of course," You nodded.
