Life is like a growing tree
Reaching out its branches free
Stretching out, touching the sky
Feeling as if it can fly
The tree grows taller day by day
And I love this tree in every way
Showing the aspects life so well
Even when it's not so swell
This tree will struggle like life will, too
Striving to grow, and get back to you
It reaches out and grabs your hand
And whispers a simple demand
"Whether I live, or die today
Promise me.. here, you will stay"
