Broken PT 2

Tony's pov
    Pepper and I have been thinking about this for a while. We want a kid but we want to adopt. So that's how we ended up at this orphanage in Queens.

We walked in to see a bunch of kids lined up from the looks of it oldest to youngest. 

The lady asked us what age range of kids we wanted

Pepper replied with "8 to 15"

The lady started listing off the names of the kids and at the end she was saying two more names and stopped

"Peter Ethan, gt down her NOW" she yelled

Two teenage boys came down stairs they looked like they were the oldest. One boy had curly brown hair with brown eyes and was a little bit shorter than me. The other boy had straight brown hair with blue eyes and was a little taller than the other boy.

The lady said "this is Peter and Ethan they are 15"

Peter's pov

Me and Ethan looked up to see Tony Stark and Pepper Stark! I internally was fanboying but kept my cool because they surely weren't going to want us.

Ms. Nancy told them that they could talk with each of us and look around the place. Of course the two went to the youngest first and started talking.

"Ethan let's go finish the homework we were working on" I said

He nodded his head and we went to our room.

Tony's pov

Me and Pepper walked over to the youngest kid and started talking but to me I was kind of interested in the two boys. I watched as one said something and the other nodded and they went upstairs.

"Hey Pep can I go talk to some of the other kids?"

"Sure I'll be over here." She said

I walked upstairs and realised just how gross this place is.

I looked around and saw a door that said Peter and Ethan on it.

I walked over and knocked on the door. One boy with the straight brown hair opened it and looked suprised to see me.

"Hey I just wanted to come and talk to you guys" I said walking in

"Oh ok umm my name's Ethan and that's Peter pointing to the kid sitting by the desk

"What are you working on?" I asked the boy with brown curly hair that I just found out was named Peter

"Just some homework it's pretty easy though" he said barely above a whisper. I could tell he was nervous.

I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder. As I did that he flinched ever so lightly

I shrugged it off as nerves and watched him do his homework and talked to him and Ethan

"Tony come down stairs" pep yells

I said a quick goodbye to the boys and went down stairs.

"So I think we are going to talk about who we want to adopt and then come back tomorrow and tell them" Pep told the lady

She nodded and opened the door for us.

We got in the car and sat in silence for a bit

"So do you have anyone in mind" I asked pep

She responded with "I talked to the younger ones and I don't think I want to adopt them. How about you? Did you meet anyone you want to adopt?"

"I met these two boys and they were really nice and kind and smart. One of the boys named Peter could keep up with me talking science." I said

"Ok so tomorrow I'll meet them and if I like them we will adopt them." Pep stated.

I nodded my head
