Chapter 2- The slow and simple melody

I took my bag and my guitar and I followed Josh inside. Once in the arena, the guys were already on the stage ready to start the soundcheck.

- "Finally you're here! I thought you were lost! : Ian joked.

- :Yeah I was outside and look what I found!"

The guy looked at me and gave me the most beautiful smile

- :Hi! "They all said.

- "What is your name? "Matt asked

-: Ashley."

-" She was sitting outside and sang a little. I saw her and well, she's pretty cool. So I brought her with me. She will be with us tonight, if that's ok with you?"

-" Perfect!" Mike said

- With pleasure! Matt said

- "Only if she passes the test! "said Ian

- "What test?" I asked.

- Mwuhahaha! Question 1: What is Josh's middle name?"

-" This is an easy one. Keeler"

- "This is good. Question 2: Which guy was one of my roommates when I was young?"

- "Mike, obviously"

- "You're right."

- "Ok come on Ian, she doesn't need to pass a test. "Josh said

- "Ok then, I just wanted to have a little fun!"

- "I see. Well, we start the soundcheck?"

- "Let's go!" Mike said. Josh came on stage.

- "You can sit next to the stage if you want, Ashley!" he said

- "Okay !"

I went on stage and I sat to the Ian's left side. He looked at me and smiled in a weird way. Ahh dear Ian, you'll always make me laugh.

Two hours later, the soundcheck was finished and everything was perfect for tonight. We were going to repeat one more time after dinner. For now, my stomach needs to eat a little. I think I'll invite Ashley. The guys, they'll go alone. I want to continue my discussion with her. She seems awesome. Also, I would like to know more about her mom thing. Maybe she wants to tell me a bit about it. As we descended the stage, I made a sign to Ashley to tell her that I wanted to talk to her.

- "So how was it?"

- "The show will be beautiful. You guys are amazing!"

- "Thanks. So, are you hungry?

- "A little, yeah."

- "So, do you wanna go take a bite?"

- "With the guys?"

- "Actually, I was thinking just you and me."

- "Ahh uh, yeah it's perfect I guess!"
