Chapter 26

I accidentally confessed my feelings at her!

Damn it!i don't know wether if i should feel embarrased or nervous.i open my mouth and closed it back repeatedly while keep wandered my eyes around the room , and this is the only time i hope this bed could swallowed me up

"Jennie?" I snapped out of my thoughts when i heard lisa called me.i was avoiding her gaze as my heart was beating rapidly

"L-lisa it's–uh that time i was.." i hardly bit my lips while fiddling with my fingers

That time i was scared , im scared if when i opened my eyes the next day lisa would no longer at by my side and that made me want to let her know about my feelings for her before she leave me.i couldn't think straight since i was covered in cold and my brain can't work properly , but i never thought something like this would happened

"Do you mean it?" She asked.i clenched my sweaty hands , i was nervous to tell her the truth because from what i see before , the way she treated me was like..like her feelings for me was already gone a long time ago...and that scared me

"Jennie?" i flinch when she softly hold my hand , looking direct into my eyes.i look down on our hands and squeezed my eyes shut

She already knows , so what's the point of lying right , I thought

I lift my gaze up to her.she was caressing my hand softly as she was waiting for my answer.i released a deep sigh , and slowly nod my head , fought back with the shame i felt

"I m-mean it.." i said , my voice was above a whisper.i didn't dare to look at her face but a pair of hands was cupping my face and lifted it up.lisa scoot closer to me and close the distance between us , her thumb on my cheek was caressing softly in circular motion causing my throat to tightened as i just look at her pretty doe eyes , getting lost in those beautiful features

"Then say it again" she said , i can feel her breath on my lips and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.my breathing accelerated as i keep swallowing the lump in my throat

"Say it again nini , i want to hear it.." she muttered.my heart flutter hearing the name escaped from her mouth , it just sounds so perfect when it come from her.i took my deepest breath , and take all the courage that had been accumulated within myself , and i look at her eyes

"I love you lisa" i finally said it , her lips curved upwards into a soft smile and before i knew it,she already leaned her face to me and crash our lips together into a soft , tender kiss.it took me a seconds to process everthing that was happening before i respond to her kiss.she placed her hands on my waist and drew me closer to her while my hands slowly move up to wrapped around her neck.I feel like the room around us slowly disappearing , along with all our worries and our problems.she made me feel like none of them mattered.the kiss was slow and gentle , i could feel the love she poured in that kiss that made me feel butterflies in my stomach

This felt good , and this felt so right

lisa slowly break the kiss , i opened my eyes and my heart beating faster when she was looking at me with her eyes sparkled and her lips formed a sweet smile that i couldn't help but to smile back.our forehead rest against each other , while lisa stare deeply into my eyes that i could feel my face slowly turned crimson

"Nini" she called me under her breath.my eyes land again on her lips as i hummed in respond while catching my breath

"I love you too" she said and that's all it took before she pull me into an another kiss.i smile widely in between our kiss and earned a light giggles from her.i couldn't think of a time i'd ever been happier.A few tears of happiness rolled down onto my cheek that got quickly removed by lisa with her thumb.i pull her nape closer to me and deepened the kiss as our lips moving in perfect sync.the kiss made the warmth spread throughout my entire body.it was hard for me to let go of this contentment , but i just remembered about something that made me to slowly pull off the kiss.she frown as her lips pouted slightly , i giggles and brush our nose together
