Chapter Three: The Worst Mate.

Uh-oh wasn't even the words to describe it.

Emma was reunited with her mate.

This ain't good, considering the things he did to her before we found her.

I needed to get her out.

But the rest of the packs..

I took the chance, and dived as fast as I could, snatching Emma from his grasp.

Emma winced at the pain of my talons, but I had no choice.

I flew as fast as I could to my pack house, screaming shouts of protest from Alpha Chris.

He suddenly stopped, and I made the mistake of looking back.

He was riding Sonny, after us.

"Shit!" I exclaimed.

I then had an ingenious idea.

I pulled up, into the clouds, fast, causing confusion to Sonny and Alpha Chris.

I mind linked Emma.

Climb onto my back.

Got it. She mind linked me before climbing my body to get onto my back.

Hold on. I said to her.

I then went at full speed, going faster and faster.

I messaged Sonny via Davx link.

Me:You traitor!!!

Him: He made me, otherwise I'd die.

Me: I'd prefer it.

Him: that's nice.

Me: Well at least ease up a bit, I need to get Emma to safety.

Him: Okay. Fine. But you owe me. I'm probably gonna get beaten up.

Me: Oh no Sonny!

Him: it's fine, I'm a Davx, I can handle it.

Me: If you say so.

I swooped up higher into the clouds, where I almost couldn't breathe, and Sonny followed.

Then I had a plan.

I mind-linked him via Davx link.

Me: I have a plan.

Him: What is it?

Me: Use your powers to create an invisible mask over your face so you have oxygen, and then fly higher. The lack of oxygen will make Alpha Chris unconscious.

Him: You're brilliant.

Me: Why thank you.

He didn't reply, meaning he was too busy with the face mask.

Him: I'm ready.

Me: Okay.

I then mind-linked Emma.

Me: You're gonna fall asleep for a few moments.

Emma: Okay. Wait why?

Too late.

I had already flown up higher, I was beyond the clouds, Gravity was on the edge, I could see the darkness of space almost.

I looked behind me to see that Alpha Chris had fallen asleep, and Emma's body felt limp.

I used my powers more to secure her to me.

I then dived hard towards the ground, and eased up and landed softly in a tree.

I then woke Emma up, and un-did the secure hold I had made with my powers.

"Wha? What happened?" She asked and I changed back to my normal self, except with white feathery angel wings.

"Oh that happened." She said remembering.

"Yeah. I'm sorry, Em. I honestly didn't know what was going to happen." I said honestly.

"It's fine."

"No it's not. I'll make it up to you later. Just rest here while I go and sort everything out and get our packs back to safety." I said.

"Okay go, quickly, before he comes back." She said, her voice small and scared.

I felt sorry for her and gave her a sad smile and a sympathetic look before flying up towards the clouds.

I flew up and was just resting a metre above the clouds.

I Davx-linked Sonny.

Me: Okay, Emma is safe. Come down and bring Alpha Chris.

Him: Okay.

A few moments later, Sonny was flying down in Eagle form, with Alpha Chris resting unconscious on his back.

I used my powers to carry Alpha Chris off of Sonny and leave him floating in the air.

"Change into your angel form." I commanded Sonny.

He did so, changing into his normal self, except he had leathery pitch black wings, and he wore a pitch black satin robe.

"Every Davx is different." He said and I nodded.

We waited for Alpha Chris to wake up.

I stood with my arms crossed against my chest and tapping my foot on the air.

"Oh hurry up slumber boy!" I screamed at Alpha Chris. No reaction.

"That's it." I said and uncrossed my arms, and a large amount of water appeared floating in my palm.

I thrust my arm forward, and released the water, causing it to soak Alpha Chris to the bone. He then woke up frantic.

"Welcome back, Christopher." I said, and returned my arms across my chest.

"It's Alpha Chris to you!!" He screamed and then saw my face, and recent memories flooded back to him as his face dropped for a moment, and then scrunched up in anger. He tried walking towards me, but then fell screaming.

Sonny sighed and then waved his index down and then up, causing Alpha Chris to reappear in front of us.

Sonny then released his finger and Alpha Chris stood floating again.

"Sonny! Take me back to the pack house!" Screamed Alpha Chris with fury.

"No." Was Sonny's reply.

"What?! How dare you disrespect your Alpha!"

"No. You are my ex-Alpha now. Im joining my Davx mate's pack." He sad defiantly.

Wait..

Did I hear that correctly?

Davx mate?

Is that a thing?

I have so much to learn.

"Wait..what?" I said, my eyes connecting with Sonny's, his eyes full of lust.

It was a real thing.

I have a Davx mate.

A/n: Okay hello! Sorry for the short chapter, but I thought it'd be good to stop at this cliffhanger, which you all are probably gonna hate me for :P
