"Anna" I heard Hannah say softly, along with the quiet squeak coming from my door as she opened, then closed it. I flipped my body over so I was facing away, but then light burst through my window after she moved the curtains to the side.

I groaned and pulled my blanket over my head, to try and shield away from the brightness.

"I made you lunch, come on." I felt her slightly tug at the blanket but I kept my grip so she couldn't snatch it from me.

"I'm not hungry." I said, with my eyes still shut.

"You should eat, it's noon and you missed breakfast." She explained, still trying to rip the blanket off of me.

I groaned once again and just lifted the blanket off my head but shielding my eyes from the bright light shining through my window with my hands. My eyes burned from last night's fiasco and the light burning through my window made my eyes hurt even more.

When I looked at her she smiled widely. She stood in front of my bed, staring at me with a tray of food in her hands.

"Fine." I sighed and sat up against my headboard.

"I made your favorite." She came over to the side of the bed and placed the tray on my lap. "Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I also made some tea."

"I think this is classified as breakfast, but thank you." I said then picked up the sandwich and took a small bite. It was so good but I really wasn't hungry, so I placed it back down on the tray.

"It's good though right? I tried not burning the bacon again, like last time." She smiled proudly. "Drink some of the tea."

I took a sip then placed the mug back onto the tray. "It's good."

She smiled and clapped then sat beside me. "Let's go to the movies, that one movie you've been wanting to see came out-"

"Hannah," I said, trying to stop her from talking but she just kept going.

"And don't worry I will buy the snacks-"

"Hannah!" I said much louder this time and thankfully caught her attention, making her stop abruptly.

"What?" She asked after she took a pause.

"Why are you being so nice?" I asked.

She looked away for a second, avoiding eye contact. I waited for her to look back at me and when she did she let out an exasperated sigh.

"I saw how sad you were last night so I wanted to treat you to something." She explained and frowned.

"I just had a bad night, I'm fine." I said and sort of struggled to even say the words. Was I actually fine? Maybe not, but I didn't want her to worry about me. It seems like that's all she does nowadays.

"Anna, I can tell when you're fine and when you're not. Please don't lie to me." She pleaded.

I guess lying hasn't done me any good.

"I'll get over it, it seriously isn't a big deal." I told her and picked up the warm mug to take a sip of the tea she had made me.
