There has to be another life,
Where things turned out differently.
another world of our own, where nothing has changed.
We still care and respect each other.
I always make an effort and express how I feel about you.
All the terrible things we said and did, do not exist.
In this other world, we're genuinely content.
we still laugh at the thought of us not speaking.
Where we can't even imagine life without each other
There is no need to miss one another.
The 3 am phone calls till the sun comes up
Looking at your pictures doesn't make me cringe.
I happily wear the brackets you gave to me. Your hand in mine.
You are still the curve to my smile,
We're just living in the wrong one.
Just knowing that maybe somewhere we have what we used to have, I feel better.
There has to be another life... I just know it.
