I Miss You

From the start we were one.

From the get-go we knew.

Strange to think that from

Disrespect our friendship grew.

I defended you, and, well,

You encouraged me. I

opened up and I did Share,

And my, We made some pair.

We laughed , and we cried,

we yelled, and we cursed,

We read, and we wrote,

all to often not in verse.

Together we grew,

both in faith and in trust,

Together we spoke of

Life lost, and found Love.

No one can ever

Compare to you, Dear,

You taught me to speak and

write freely, to have no Fear.

Others will not understand

the talks we had,

nor will they ever be

graced by the sort of light you gave to me.

I will always call you friend,

I will always be in need,

but will always be okay

,so long as I've got you, and we've got He.

This Poem is dedicated to Mr. Stephen Loope, my old high school English teacher. I originally wrote it for him on some paper-got it written in calligraphy, and gave it to him. Just posting it here for references , and for all to enjoy. ^^
