Oikawa's POV

"I- I like (Y/n)!?!?!?!" Oikawa blushed.

"Yes," Yuri nodded.

"Eh!?!? How could this happen! And she's with Kageyama at Karasuno right now! What do I do!?!?!?!" the brunette wailed.

"Shut up, and bE a MaN!" Yuri screeched.

"Geez, Yuri, that was cringey... Wasn't expecting that from you," Oikawa wrinkled his nose and laughed.

"Well I expected you to be trash, so at least one of us was right." Yuri teased (but was kind of serious).

"You're just like Iwa-chan..."

Oikawa and Yuri talked about themselves for the entire time, and to be honest, Oikawa enjoyed it. It wasn't like hanging out with (Y/n), but it was  nice to have a friend like Yuri to talk to.

"Ah... It's so late now... I think it may rain... We should go buy some umbrellas," Yuri looked outside the window.

"Maybe (Y/n)-chan is back from Karasuno now!" Oikawa said hopefully.

"We can go and check after we get umbrellas!" Yuri suggested.

"Geez... I don't wanna be wasting my money on umbrellas! I have one at homeeeee!"

"Well, if you want to be soaked, go ahead."

"We can share one! It'll be cheaper!"

"Ew, gross, get away."

Yuri's weather prediction was correct- it started raining as soon as they both bought umbrellas.

"Uwah... I'm nervous..." Oikawa blushed as he walked to (Y/n)'s under his cheap umbrella.

Just thinking about you made the brunette excited and anxious.

"You talk to a bunch of girls every day. What's the difference?"

"I never actually liked any of them..."

"Eh. You'll be fine."

"BUT WHAT IF I ACTUALLY DON'T LIKE HER, AND WHEN I REALIZE IT, SHE'LL BE HURT! I DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!" Oikawa wailed.

"God, do you need some assurance?!" Yuri hissed.

"YeS pLeAsE!!!"

Oikawa wasn't expecting Yuri to grab on to him and kiss him on the lips. It felt... nice...?

Just kidding, it felt so WRONG. So, so, SO wrong.

Yuri pulled away and wiped her lips.

"Urrrrgh, I can't believe I did that for (Y/n)," she groaned.

"Oh my god," Oikawa said, "I know for sure now! I'm in love with-"

He hesitated, feeling someone stare at him from afar.

"(Y/n)-chan...?"
