my (mis)fortunes in theatre

this was also in the addams family-

so i was an ancestor, and my character was a peasant. i had to have a dress, a skirt, and then an apron. well the skirt and apron was too big, so i pinned them up with these really thick safety pins that our costume manager gave me.

during the kids show (we perform during the day for 6th graders), it was scene three of act one during 'Trapped'. i didn't notice that the pin came undone, so when i moved, i sliced my finger open while in the middle of the performance.

so i had to act like i wasn't bleeding and hide it.

during my quick change for 'the moon and me', the exact same pin stabbed into my finger.

and again after the show when we changed.
