Introduction

There was once a time when the world had no idea about mythical beings, only stories and tales gave them a looked inside the make believe.

In this world mythical beings can exist in peace and coexist without the humans knowing. Werewolves vampires, and other mythic beings would stand alongside the humans, blending in. Other mythics chose to live in peace far away from human knowledge, but that changed when a werewolf shifted on live news one full moon.

The world was shocked, everything went into chaos. Humans started rioting and burning down homes assuming their neighbors were werewolves. Many more cases of people stabbing innocent people thinking they were vampires became the normal. So many people were killed when the mythic crisis happened. Cutting down the human and mythic population down to an extreme low.

The government decided that it was best to separate the two different worlds. Mythical beings get one half and humans get the other. It managed to calm down many people, but it still left fear with most. Sooner or later they started teaching mythology in school hoping to educate the new generation.

Seeing as most of the new generation was half breeds, it worked out pretty good. Sooner or later they blended the two sides back together again with time, leaving humans and mythics to coexist again in a new era.

Doing so, it brought more peace to the world but there were still people who were opposed by it, calling mythics and half-mythics abominations. Many organizations formed that made it their duty to rid the world of these beings, calling themselves The Protectors.

The goddess of the moon and many mythics soon got enraged by all the evil happening in the world. The protectors would kill innocent people and mythics trying to "better" the world, but in reality caused many of the gods to become distant and detached themselves from the world.

Each death and each killing or mythics and humans would cause pain to the Moon goddess and those around her causing no one to want to be apart of this horrid world no more, so they withdrew from the human and mythic world. The only gods and goddesses that stayed were The Moon goddess Luna and the Night God Nyx. They worked together to better the world the best they could by themselves but found it troublesome.

Soon they came up with a plan, they would have a child. That child would bring peace and order to the world, saving the mythic and human race. Soon after they had a beautiful daughter, who they called Griselda. With white hair from her mother and blue eyes from her father she gave them hope again.

She would bring order and hope to the world.

The other gods and goddesses found out about the child, she was forbidden. No gods or goddesses should reproduce, so they came up with a plan to steal and rid the universe of Griselda. Hermes who was the most clever of the Olympian gods didn't agree with the other gods, he decided to steal Griselda away, saving the child.

Hermes decided to leave Griselda on Earth, knowing that the Gods and Goddesses won't suspect she'd be there. Staying on Earth himself he decided he would be here protector. He knew she was the only hope for this world and he made it his duty to watch over her.

Once Luna and Nyx learned Griselda was stolen they were distraught, causing the first blood moon to appear on Earth.

The effects of the blood moon were violent, causing many mythics to suffer what they call a "heat." Every female mythic would suffer intense pain unless they laid with someone that night and every male would be extremely aggressive until they mated with someone.

The moon goddess felt bad for causing so much pain, she herself began to suffer from a heat as well, so she made the mythics Soul Mates. Someone who can completely stop the effects of the blood moon if you held their mark. A mark is a claim on your soul that bonds two souls together for enternity. Nyx became the mate of Luna, marking her he would bound the two together forever.

Down on Earth a family found Griselda, they took her in no questions asked and raised her as their own. Their only clue of who she was was written on a note placed on top of her when they found her.

Big adventures will follow Griselda as she grows up and learns, she herself was a mythic. What hardships is in store for Griselda? Or as you'll know her by Jaci Aurora Lowell renamed by Hermes once he brought her on Earth for her safety.
