N O WI picked at my pancakes with my fork and poured an unnecessary amount of maple syrup on them, perhaps my mother's pancakes could sweeten up my morning.
"Princess don't play with your food." My dad scolded placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Good morning daddy, did you sleep well?" I ask taking a bite of my food, I'm super stressed out because of regionals this weekend, I have to stay laser-focused this week.
"As good as one can sleep with your mom talking in her sleep." He chuckles,
"John I do not talk in my sleep!" Mom says getting all flustered and smacking my dad with a kitchen towel.
If there was a couple in Clearhaven that still bickered like an elderly couple but remained as hot for each other as the day they first met, it was my parents.
