There's very few things

Keeping me here

Very few things

That I hold dear

I've fallen so far

And fallen so fast

Long ago I gave up hope

Anything good could last

I want to leave

I want to stay

But I can't seem to keep

The pain at bay

So I cut and I cry

And I try to leave

But you're always there

Forcing me to breathe

I don't know why

You even care

I don't know why

You don't leave me and my despair

But right now you're here

And I don't know why

But I know without you

I'd surely die
