There once was a town. A small town, where gossip spreads quick and rumors are known as truths. It was nearby the seaside, and had beautiful sunsets. A girl usually passed into town, going in and out usually. She was very beautiful, and had flowing white hair, the most beautiful and warm brown eyes, and the most pretty smile. However, whenever she came in, tears graced her face and rain always followed almost right behind her.
The rumors surrounding her were almost all horrible, saying that she was an evil spirit sent to curse the town. Saying that the beauty was a disguise for an ugly demon. They blamed her for all the misfortune the rain gave them, and were rude to the poor girl. However, one day, she came into the town close to a total meltdown. Tears streamed down her face like the harsh water droplets that fell like bombs. She rushed into the town, hoping to find solace in a kind old lady who never believed the rumors. Of course, there were others, but the girl felt the most safe with her. The night she came, a dangerous storm hit the town, and throughout the night, the citizens grew more and more aggravated and frightened of the girl, and then, they were fed up. Their pitchforks raised, they made their way to the old lady's house.
They burst their way through the door, screaming, trying to get the girl to leave their town- forever. The girl tried to negotiate, tried to calm them down, but they still persisted. They screamed at her, yelling at her to leave their town for the rest of her life. They told her she was evil, bringing misfortune to the town. None of it seemed to get to her until they finally found something she cared for. The kind old lady. One of the villagers threatened to kill her, and that finally got the girl to leave. The next day, everything seemed fine. But there was a feeling in the air. Like something bad would happen.
The old woman gathered up whoever believed her, and left the town. She thought that this was a bad omen, that something horrible truly was to happen.
The people of the town were offended, stating that she should get out of their town. To leave, that she was a monster, that they would hurt her. So, she made her way to the exit of the town.
It was all quiet, and she stood there. She stood there. Then, no rain seeming to come, people thought nothing was wrong, that they warded the "demon" off. But then, a citizen noticed something at the sea. A giant wave. The people of the Town panicked, trying to leave the town. But, the it was too quick. Nobody was left. Their corpses littered the streets of the town, houses torn down, buildings almost ripped straight off of the ground. However, the girl was never seen. Her body was not there. There was no way she could've not gotten hit by the wave, it was coming straight for her.
How? They ask. How? Some say she was a spirit, and went back into the water. Some say that she escaped, found a way to escape the wave. And some said that she was dead, but her body was swept into the ocean, for nobody to see.
However, nobody truly knew. That was something only she could answer.
The End.
(AN: I think I could do better, but, honestly, this is not my worst!)
