"You fucker! You could've done that yesterday! Why the hell did you have to do it now? It's too early for this!" Beomgyu whined with one eye opened and one eye closed.

Soobin shrugged, "I was busy yesterday."

"Busy? Hmm busy with what? Or should I say... busy with who?" Beomgyu was suddenly awake as he squints his eyes at him. His best friend is really unbelievable.

Soobin chuckled, shaking his head at him, "What are you thinking? Seriously Gyu..."

"Oh nothing nothing..." Beomgyu waved his hands, "But does you being busy had to with Y to the E to the J to the I?"

"The hell? Why are you suddenly talking like those spoiled rich girls in school?" Soobin asked.

Beomgyu dramatically gasped, his eyes widening, "Haha! Nice try diverting the topic! But you're not getting away this time!"

Soobin rolled his eyes at that, "I was with her yesterday---"

"I knew it! You missed her a lot so I understand if you spent the whole day with her." Beomgyu cut him off, "What did you guys do?"

"We just talked really... and I kinda helped her babysit a three-year-old boy yesterday." Soobin explained, leaving the most important information behind.

Beomgyu nodded, "Already planning for the future, I see."

"Beomgyu! What the fuck?!"

"Kidding!" Beomgyu bursted out laughing, "So... what did you guys talked about yesterday?"

"Oh, about some... things." Soobin half shrugged.

Beomgyu raised his brow, not believing his best friend even for a second, "Care to elaborate?"

Soobin let out a sigh, "Sorry, can't really share everything but, we uhm talked about something serious."

"Oh...you told her about your family?"

Soobin nodded, "Yes and she told me about hers too."

"Wow. I'm the only one you've opened up to... Then, you really do trust her too huh?" Beomgyu said with a small smile.

"Oh u-uh yeah. I do." Soobin dropped his gaze down, he can feel his ears burning from embarrassment after admitting that.

Beomgyu's sudden clap made Soobin's shoulders jump, "My baby's all grown up. I'm so proud of you. I could still remember how shy you were when you introduced yourself in front during our first day in school and you wouldn't talk to anyone but me. And now! Please keep that girl!"

"Oh dear... please stop!" Soobin laughed. Typical Beomgyu.

His morning consisted of Beomgyu's 'love advices' and his dramatic ass, and the never ending scolding he got from his grandma after he confessed that he took a stray kitten home. But hey, at least she allowed him to keep it!

Soobin was in a good mood when he arrived at the diner which is unusual for him.

"Good morning, hyung!" Soobin beamed at Yeonjun who was mopping the floor.

Yeonjun had to do a double look at Soobin after that. He noticed that something's different with Soobin... like, why the hell is the boy in all smiles all of a sudden? Is he that excited to work today?

Yeonjun propped his hands on top of the mop handle as he stares at Soobin who is still smiling while he was wiping the tables. Okay! Something's definitely up and he needs to find out what.
