Dear Diary,

I'm Kate Angela. Ironic, right? I am 12 years old and am in 7th grade. School is in the second quarter but is still in the first trimester. The beginning of the middle. I live in a smallish town called American Fork. That is in Washington. It seems as if everyone knows everyone else. I attend Lincoln Middle School. Our mascot is a bald eagle. We are sometimes called the American   Eagles.

I am considered a good student. That's good. I can't be anything less than perfect. I used to think that being good was the end of it. Oh, I was so wrong. Some consider me to be perfect. An angel. I don't know why...

I first realized this at school. It was 4th hour science and I was joking around with my friend K.W.   I don't remember what led me to saying this but I did say that, "I was a perfect little angel," with an evil voice.

K.W. laughed and replied, "As if!" This would be my very last interaction were I didn't watch what I said. Were I wasn't on guard. All because of what I did next.

"Yes I am. I'll prove it," I jokingly replied. I then turned to a boy next to me and asked in my most innocent voice, "Do you think that I am a perfect little angel?" A little surprised he said yes. Then it hit me. People thought I was perfect. They would be disappointed if they knew I wasn't perfect.

  I can't disappoint them. I won't let them down.

From your new friend,

Kate

This is the very first story that I am sharing outside of school! I hope that whoever wanders onto this story likes it. I am open to constructive criticism. Not hate. Constructive criticism will tell me exactly what I should fix. Also please tell me what you liked! And just a reminder, this story will have no swear words.
