She was far from ordinary, standing at about 5'5" with a frame that hovered around 135 pounds at most, a perfect balance of curves and strength. Her wavy black hair cascaded down her back like midnight water, ending just above her tailbone in a thick, precise cut, though today she'd tamed the wild mane into a loose bun at the nape of her neck. Her skin, a sun-kissed caramel that seemed to glow, looked impossibly soft, begging to be touched.

The loose jeans she wore clung precariously to her hips, while her bikini top revealed every perfect curve of her form. Those full lips, the perfect shade of rich brown, and those long, dark eyelashes framing catlike eyes the color of deep earth, they haunted his dreams.

Zoro had never understood true desire until he met her. He found himself entranced by the most mundane things, like the way she seemed to float rather than walk across the sunny grass, how her lips would purse ever so slightly when deep in thought, creating a tiny dimple at the corner of her mouth. Even the scent of her, fresh soap with delicate notes of jasmine, would stay with him long after she'd left a room.

She was hypnotic, and it hadn't taken long for Zoro, a man who prided himself on his discipline, to become utterly captivated by her magnetic presence.

Their first encounter remained etched in his memory with painful clarity. It had been on Samba Island in the Grand Line, yes, that was it. By some twist of fate, they had arrived during the island's annual cultural festival.

His mind drifted back to the recent memory.

They had docked on a relatively small island where an unusual man with a triangular head and bright orange hair had greeted them, welcoming them to what looked more like an oversized amusement park than an island. Massive trees surrounded them, alongside warnings of man-eating animals and spiders that would make most people's skin crawl. The heat was oppressive, turning the air into a thick soup that coated everyone in sweat within minutes.

The island's natives were in the midst of their yearly celebration, a festival Luffy had spotted on a flyer as they fled Alabasta days earlier. The mention of rare, oversized meat had been enough to send their captain into a frenzy of excitement. Add to that a beauty contest offering 500 million berri in prize money, which had Nami practically weeping with joy, and an amusement park that caught everyone's attention, the crew's detour was inevitable.

As soon as they landed, they split into their usual formations. Luffy, Chopper, Franky, and Nami made a beeline for the festival without so much as a backward glance. Robin, ever the explorer, announced her intention to investigate the island's forests.

Still not entirely trusting the archaeologist, Zoro had almost volunteered to accompany her, but the cook, that irritating, love-struck fool, beat him to it, dragging a protesting Usopp along to carry Robin's provisions. Taking it as a sign from fate, Zoro decided to wander in a direction neither group had chosen.

He plunged into the forest, immediately enveloped by a peaceful silence that offered a welcome far from his rowdy crewmates. The air carried a sweet fragrance that reminded him of ripened mangoes. As he ventured deeper, the canopy grew denser, filtering the sunlight into dappled patterns on the forest floor.

After walking for what seemed like hours, though likely only minutes, given his notorious sense of direction, he began to hear the unmistakable sound of rushing water. "Amazing, a waterfall," he muttered to himself, pushing through the thick vegetation with renewed purpose.

Breaking through a particularly dense patch of vines, he stumbled into a sun-drenched clearing—and there she was.

He froze, rooted to the spot, his eyes traveling slowly over the form that instantly awakened parts of himself he'd never acknowledged. Hidden behind the shrubs and bushes that concealed his broad frame, he watched the woman bathing in the crystal-clear pool beneath the waterfall.
