Looking out the window Tokito watches the trees swaying with the wind as birds fly by until he hears a slam on the desk in front of him. He look from the window to see his teacher Mrs. Bridget with her hand on the desk giving him a scowl saying,"Tokito where are your books?! How will you ever successfully finish school if you don't have any of your school work materials" Mrs. Bridget says sighing in discontent.

"Mrs. Bridget even if I had all my books and successfully finished school what would be the point. I would only graduate to become a slave worker for society where I would have to wait tables, work at a convenient store, or worse for less than minimum wage...."I say this thinking (what's the point of doing all this school work when I won't be staying around all that much longer. )
Mrs. Bridget says to me, " well Mr. Tokito you still need to pass your classes if you still want your scholarship, which means bringing your books to class. Listen I know it's not easy with the fact that your parents are no longer around that you may have difficulty keeping your stuff together and with your aunt not being home all the time can cause you to not care about your daily necessities, but you need to understand that the world keeps moving forward regardless of your situation. Now I hope that you will be able to get into a college of your choice or if not then at least a well paying job if college is not what you desire blah blah blah." (Yeah, like I want to go to a college when even getting a masters wouldn't be any guarantee about obtaining a well paying job. Might as well go to loan sharks and get myself in a debt with them because I would never be able to pay that school loan off) slam! I jumped and saw this time Mrs. Bridget slammed a ruler against the desk. " Have you listened to anything I said to you within the last 10 minutes!" Mrs. Bridget yelled at me. " Honestly, the last thing I heard was something about not needing to go to college......" I said to Mrs. Bridget. She gives me another scowl and then sighs and says to to me to get out of her office. ( Finally I can go home) I think while walking pass the door into the hallway until I hear a crash and then all becomes dark.
