That Explains Everything

(Alana's POV)

"I was the cause of you girls having powers" dad said looking nervous

"What?!!" Y/N shouted at the top of her voice

"How did you do it and why didn't you say anything, do you know how long we had to keep this a secret from mom and my friends"she said trying her best not to shout

"Do you know how different I felt, for years I've been wondering how this happened and this is how I find out?!" I shouted

"I know....I just..." He said

"You just what....it's all your fault" Y/N said with a disappointed face

"I was just waiting for the right time to tell you girls it was me but I never really thought this would happen" he said looking down at the floor

"Dad...what are you talking about..?" I asked looking at him curious

"Girls I'm not really a scientist well at least not anymore, I actually make gadgets for Batman and I work on their technology"dad said looking at us directly in our eyes

"That explains everything, you not keeping in touch with us...the hero's saving us, and that's why you leave home early and come back so late" Y/N said while looking at me

"But how....how did you give us powers?" I asked

"Well...when we use to leave together back home I use to work for your uncle Lex Luther, and well we were working on some experiments to make an army of super powered humans, he wanted to stop Bruce Wayne so he was going to use the humans to take Bruce out, but we couldn't use it on humans and couldn't really get any human test subjects so.."

"So what?" I asked because I knew if Y/N were to speak she would say something bad or yell at dad

"So one night when you girls were sleeping I decided to inject some of the serum into both of you" he said hesitantly

"I knew it was dangerous and it could have killed you both but I did it to keep my job, I'm sorry"

"I can't believe you would do something like this dad" Y/N said while trying not to yell

"I know....I'm really really sorry...and that is what put you girls in danger, Lex Luther knows that you girls have those abilities he was the one who suggested to put it in you girls... I knew if I told him it worked that he would harm you and use you girls to kill Bruce" Dad said

"Dad it's okay" I said

"But that doesn't explain the super heroes" Y/N said slightly yelling

"Oh yes....I packed my stuff and left Lex without him knowing and when I was driving Batman hopped in front of my car I stopped a few inches in front him and he pulled me out of the car and forced me to tell him everything" dad said

" Ohhhh" Y/N said realising everything

"Yes...and he asked me to work for him and since I was good with tech he let me work on gadgets and I also met the team and I know their identities" dad said with slightly proud tone

"Okay dad thanks for telling us " I said

"It's time for bed girls you have school tomorrow and it's already 10:57pm so I have to go to work" dad said

"Okay good night" Y/N said and we went to bed..
