Also, our main character is in fact a transgender female. Flarey was born with male genitals, but she has always ben a female, and in the timeline of the beginning of the story, she has had the "Gender Conversion Spell" which is similar to surgeries in our world for trans people. EDIT 2: The people in this story are all miniture, as are the creatures (wyverns, etc.), because they are Pixies. Pixies are similar to fairies, but they do not have wings, and they rely mostly on elemental magic. The Pixies live far away from the "Sky Spirits"(humans), and refer to themselves as Bririans (bree-re-ens).
