Lisa slowly blinked as she took in her surroundings

She was in Jennie's room she can tell, she looked at the clock and calendar on Jennie's bedside table and checked the date

She was out for 2 days and she remembers everything. From the rushing to the vampire's room to announcing that she loves her and to blacking out

Her head was pounding as she stood up

"Jennie?" she calls out but was greeted by silence. The quietness on the vampire's room was adding to the pain on her head

So she went out the room and tried to look for something to do and in no time she was already downstairs

She heard voices and went to that direction

"Yeji" she heard Jennie's warning voice and went towards it

And what she saw made her heart stop, she wanted to cry there and then but she hold it in

Jennie was kissing someone and worst part is that they look like they were enjoying it

"Oh" she said not on purpose but because she was surprised to see something like that

And that was when Jennie pushed Yeji away from her

"Lisa" Jennie said as she stood up and walks towards Lisa but Lisa dashed off

"Lisa wait!" Jennie calls for her and chase her but soon enough they were outside and Lisa was already starting her bike

"Lisa" Jennie managed to grab a hold of the human's arm but Lisa yanked it away

"Let me explain" Jennie tried

"You don't need to explain anything to me" Lisa said as she puts her helmet on her

"Lisa it's not what you think it is!" Jennie explained

"What do you want Jennie?!" shouted Lisa

"I saw you both kissing and you were reciprocating and you tell me it's not what I think it is?!" Lisa yelled 

Jennie was speechless because she herself didn't have any explanation to why she kissed the other vampire back

"You know what forget it" Lisa said as she hopped on her bike and drove off

Jennie was about to follow her but Jisoo held her

"Give her time" Jisoo said

Why did Jisoo always seem to appear on times like this?

Jennie just nodded and went back to her house

"A human?" Yeji asked when she entered the house

"Fuck off" Jennie said "it was your fault"

"Really?" Yeji taunted "because from what I felt, you kissed me back" Yeji smirked

Lisa entered her apartment and closed the door loudly

She was broken, she loves the girl and now she sees her kissing someone else

Of course, what was Lisa thinking anyway?

That the queen vampire would love her back? She knew it was impossible to let the vampire have feelings for her

But why did she kissed her back then, was it her thing to always kiss someone back? Lisa thought as she grabs a beer from her fridge

"Why are you chuckling?" Rosé asked out of no where

"Jesus! You scared me!" Lisa said as she almost spilled her beer "do you own this place now?" Lisa asked sarcastically

"Yes and yes" Rosé said and Lisa looked at her questionably "I won't leave your side as I've proven that you are very attractive to troubles"

Lisa just rolled her eyes as she was tired

Rosé sat beside her and with a beer also. They drank quietly because no words was needed to be said, they found comfort in each other's presence

Lisa went back to her work the next day and since it was toxic at the hospital, the kiss about Jennie and someone was forced to be pushed behind her mind

"So you work here?" someone said and when she looked at the person it was Marco

"Marco!" Lisa faked greeted "what brought you here?"

"Just wanted to check on my daughter" Marco said with a slip of tongue

Daughter? gotchu

"Daughter?" she asked pretending that she was oblivious

"Oh nothing. Do you perhaps want to get lunch with me?" Marco asked

"Sure"

"So why did you take up medicine?" Marco asked as they were sitting on a restaurant

"I really don't know maybe because mom was a doctor" I said but mom was not a doctor I was just laying a bait

And he took it

"Your mother is not a doctor" Marco said

"You know her?" I asked her

"Yes and to be honest..." Marco dragged his words and Lisa just just shut her mouth knowing what was about to come

"I am her husband" he said "I am your dad"

Lisa purposely dropped

"No I don't believe you" Lisa went on

"Lisa, I know I haven't been around and I'm sorry I just showed up now but it's because you're in danger and I cannot let something bad happen to my daughter" Marco said as she holds her daughter's hand

Lisa pulled her hand away "why do you say I am in danger?" she asked

"Because a vampire is after you" Marco said

"What do you mean?" Lisa asked but she knew she was right all along that they would use her to get Jennie

But she was determined that she would help Jennie in any cause

She was not someone who would back away from her words

"Jennie Kim" Marco said

"What about Jennie Kim?"

"She is a bad person Lisa, she killed your own mother. Don't you want to avenge her death?" Marco said

Lisa eyed her "Of course I want to" Lisa said

"That's my daughter"

"So tell me about how we will avenge my mom" Lisa said acting

"So in 10 days we will attack her..." Marco started explaining and Lisa listened carefully and started planning in her head how she will help Jennie

She has 10 days, 10 days to plan something and save Jennie
