"Ahsoka, you are making a mistake."
"Maybe, but I have to sort this out on my own. Without the Council...and without you."
Yes, he understood, but that doesn't mean that it didn't hurt to watch her walk away from the Order.
From her friends.
From all of the good times and bad times they shared together.
From him.
Honestly, he probably wouldn't have rejoined the Order either after what happened. He would take Padme and go somewhere far from the war, wherever that was.
But the Jedi needed him, the Republic needed him.
So he'd put on a brave face and move on, just like he had been taught.
He trusted Ahsoka to make the right decision for herself, and it seemed like she had.
But why did it feel so wrong? Why did he miss her so much? Why was he still thinking about this?
He shook his head to get rid of those thoughts, and went back inside the temple.
