CHAPTER 13: Dinner Dates

"Ohhh, look who's here." sabi ni Dave na sinabayan naman ni Nix ng tunog ng fireworks.

Minsan talaga feeling ko hindi napapansin 'tong dalawa na to sa bahay nila eh. Masyadong attention seeker.

"The one and only, Alexandra." pagsakay ko sa trip ng dalawa.

They even bowed their head down at me.

I looked for Trick but he's not here, where the hell is he?

"Hey, where's Trick?" I asked Dave.

"I don't know, but hey I know where Lance is." he said teasing me.

I showed him my fist and rolled my eyes at him.

"Alexa, Alexa, hindi mo naman sinabi agad na gusto mo din si Lance. Well, two is better than one nga naman diba? Pero alam mo di ko lang sure kung matutuwa si captain dito."

"Pwede ba? Tigilan niyo ako kung ayaw niyong tamaan kayo sakin." pagbabanta ko sakanila.

They just laughed at me at nag-apir pa. Basta talaga sa kalokohan nagkakasundo ang dalawang 'to eh.

This is the trouble i'm saying, I know for sure that these two wouldn't stop teasing me until they drop dead.

But it's good that Trick isn't here or yet things would get more complicated than it is now.

"Didn't he tell you anything? I mean, you guys are always with him, hindi ba niya sinabi kung saan siya pupunta?"

"Well actually, nasa gym lang naman talaga siya Alexa." said Nix.

Seriously? They've been blabbing things for awhile now tapos ngayon niya lang sasabihin na nasa gym lang naman pala si Trick.

"Argh, bakit hindi mo agad sinabi?"

They were laughing as I walked out from the cafeteria and hurried to the gym.

I think he has a problem knowing that he's been practicing all day long. Ganun naman siya palagi, sa basketball nilalabas lahat ng frustrations and stress na pinagdadaaanan niya.

I saw Shieva and Dania waved at me pero hindi ko sila pinansin.

"Hey sis, wait up."

Hindi ko na sila pinansin at nagmadali ng pumunta sa gym, I just really want to see Trick. I really missed him.

When I opened the door, I saw him standing in the bleachers kaya naman agad ko siyang niyakap sa likod.

"Where have you been? I missed you babe."

Hinayaan niya lang akong yakapin siya.

"Babe?"

We've been in the same position for a minute now and nagtataka ako kung bakit parang okay lang sakanya.

Wait up, I know this scent and... it's not Trick's.

"Tss." he said and faced me.

I was stunned.

Damn, I don't know what have I done in my past life to deserve this kind of humiliation.

Aaaahhhh shit Alexa, how stupid can you be huh? Nagpapadala ka na naman sa emotions mo!

It was awkward but he seem to not mind it until someone clapped from the outside while the others are laughing real hard.

I covered my face and turned my back on him, of all people why does it have to be Clive?
