Precious's POV
Hi my name is Precious Cooper and I live in a place called Jabavu with my sister Queen and my mom. I don't have a dad because when I was a toddler he left me. I'm fifteen years old and I'm dating a guy called George.
My mother worked as a nurse but got fired for always coming drunk at work and at that time she was stressed about getting me another school because I got expelled in my previous school but she managed to pull herself together and she found another job as a chef because she always wanted to be one but couldn't find a job there so she quit looking and went for another career objective
My sister Queen is 22 years old and is in university but has a part time job as a waitress in Moyo's restaurant in Durban. She always comes home when she misses us and whenever she comes she talks about her love life(i wonder who her boyfriend is because the way she talks about him to me, he seem to be perfect more than George)
As we all know on the 14th of February is Valentine's day what you didn't know is that on the same day it is my birthday... Lucky me is what I would have said when I was 10 years old but now that I'm fifteen I just feel like it's a curse because every time when it's Valentine's day something terrible happens so I'm praying that tomorrow nothing bad happens, but I know that even if something bad happens George will support me.
