“Quick, quick! Load it up!”

Men holding guns scurried across, carrying crates of firearms into several large military transport aircraft parked in a deserted airport. They needed to load everything, including the tanks and helicopters.

“Interpol is gathering for the moment; they will soon be here. We need to get out of this place before Ding Sheng comes.”

Ivanov, still in sunglasses, pointed at the transport aircraft behind him, and said complacently, “Not bad, right? Two billion dollars to Hae, and these aircrafts are his gift to me in return.”

“Okay, you got more than your money’s worth back, I get it; so stop being smug.”

Chen An rolled his eyes at the self-congratulatory Ivanov, and watched the aircrafts before them with his arms folded before his chest. Then he asked with a frown: “where did you get the message?”

“I didn’t fly all these aircrafts here for nothing; I wasn’t that bored. Though to be fair, this place is quite near the moron Hae.” He had to fly the aircrafts back anyway, and it wasn’t even much of a detour to transport these goods for Chen An, who would then owe him a favor. Ivanov beamed and said: “So, how about you pay me with these goods as the freight?”

That would be a really expensive freight. Ivanov said it as a joke, yet to his surprise, Chen An agreed readily: “Okay.”

“Darling, are you serious?” Ivanov could not believe his ears.

The sly Old Fox was willing to give him the weapons? Who cheated him of out of a billion dollars? How could that same Chen An be so generous?

“Take it or leave it.”

Leaving that behind, Chen An walked in strides towards Lu Feng and Chen Yang, who had been conducting the retreat. What Ding Sheng said the other day hit a sore spot; Chen An was indeed influenced, and decided to gradually get out of the game. But it was difficult to ask him to change overnight.

This shipment of arms was more or less a hot potato for him, so why not give it to Ivanov; he’d already gotten much out of him anyway.

They needed to get out of this place before Interpol arrived; otherwise they would be caught right in the act. It might be a different story if only Lu Feng was here, yet with the four of them at the same place——too many big names in the firearms business——interested parties would be fools indeed if they didn’t suspect anything.

In that case, they won’t be easily off the hook once they were caught. But as long as they leave Syria in time and arrive at Prince Hae’s country, they would be all right.

Because they are short-handed on pilots, Ivanov gave up his comfortable private jet and flew here in a transport aircraft instead. As a result, all of them, including Chen An, were getting away on the transport aircraft.

The four of them sat on the tanks inside the cabin. Ivanov gave a surprised cry: “So both of you know Chen An’s real identity now?”

Seeing the calm expression on the others’ face, he made a frustrated sound and said to Chen An: “Darling, I thought I was your one and only; I’m so hurt.”

Ivanov looked from Chen An to Lu Feng. There wasn’t any hostility or awkwardness between the two like he’d expected; instead they seemed to be quite amiable and intimate. What was going on?

“Baby, did you happen to forget what Lu Feng did to you?”

Chen Yang, who hadn’t spoken, cast a furtive glance at Chen An, who was sitting on a tank with his legs crossed and arms supported behind his back.
