Returning loneliness

It hurts so much,
My heart

Aching and crying,
Wishing for someone to hold

It is not the loss of their warmth
that has left me this way

It's the lack of friends close to me,
To keep the thoughts away

This mandatory icolation,
It's driving me insane

Digital conversation does nothing
To take this pain away

I miss my friends so much...

They are my anchor...
