Chapter 14

"You're pretty" she blurted out causing my heart to almost stop from beating.i blush and immediately look down.she chuckle and grab my hand that was on her cheek , she put it down and took the towel

"Do you want me to wipe your face too?" She said making me blush madly

"N-no!beside i'm clea- yah!!" I look at her in disbelief when she wipe her hands that was full with flour on my face.she laugh loudly

"Now i think you need this?" She said teasingly while lifting the wet towel on her hand

"Lisa i'll kill you!"

"Come on babe" she grin and run away from me.i crack into a smile and chase her as we both was laughing at each other

Lisa POV

"I'm so full.." i said while holding my belly.we just ate the cake that we've made earlier and it's kinda good for a beginner like me

Even almost all of it was made by jennie

But i'm still proud because i'm the one who decorated the cake

"I'm tired..i won't let you get inside the kitchen anymore after this , i almost faint when i saw how messed the kitchen were"

I pout "but i help you clean it all"

She roll her eyes at me and lay down on the bed.she take her pillow and hug it as she close her eyes

"Sleepy?" I ask and she hum in response

She must be so tired , i chuckle slightly

I scoot closer to her to fix the duvet to make it cover her body , i saw she let out a small smile making me to smile as well.i gently pat her head and earn a giggles from her

"Thankyou mama" she said in a baby voice making me laugh

"Sleep" i said and she hum.after a few minutes , a snore fills the room as jennie already fell in a deep sleep.i smile and slowly went down from the bed , and make my way to downstairs.i sit on the couch and open my phone.my mom text me earlier asked me if we can call , so since i have nothing to do right now i guess i'll just call her

"Hi honey"

I smile widely when i heard my mom's voice at the other line "hi mom"

"How are you dear?are you okay there?"

"I'm doing well here mom , but i miss you so much"

"I m-miss you to dear..i wish i was there with you" my mom said and i close my eyes taking a deep breath when i heard her voice crack.it's always like this , we both will end up cried because we missed each other too much

"Mom don't cry.."

"I'm not crying" she said but the sound of her sniffling is too obvious making me giggles

"Mom.." she hum in response

"Is dad fine there?" I ask worriedly

My dad has an ilness , aside from me working to earn money to pay the debt , i also send them money every month for my dad's medical payment.my dad has a cancer and has been fighting with it for 2 years.day by day , his health become worse.my mom always called me telling me about it ,but she never let me to come back to thailand.she said she want me to finish my study here , and they keep telling me that they are just fine there but i know they just doesn't want me to get worried.sometimes they would also sent me some money, but i'll wait until the end of the month to return their money back with half of my salary without they knowing

"Dad is fine dear..i think he become more strong than before..thanks to you , just by hearing your name are enough to make him smile" i smile and bit my lips trying to holding back my tears

"Is the money i've sent to you are enough?"

"More than enough lisa , we couldn't thank you enough..and thankyou for sending us a money yesterday..it was a lot , you must be worked really hard there" my mom said with a guilty voice but there's something make me confused

"W-what?yesterday?" I asked.i didn't send any money to them yesterday?

"Yes..and thankyou for paying all of our debts honey..we promise we'll pay it back when we earn some money later" she said and i become more confused than ever

Debts?it's been paid already?

"Debts?"

"Yes..now i finally can live peacefully without worrying about it anymore"

What...

"M..mom?uh..about the money you said earlier , did you recieved the money yesterday?"

"Yes..we've got a message saying that 5000 baht are succeed to get transfered into our account , i was shocked at first but after i checked it , it's really there..thankyou so much honey" i choke on my saliva when i heard it , 5000 baht?!it's about 180000 something in korean money!

Since when i have that much money?

"M-mom actuall-"

"Oh dear i'm getting late for works now , i need to go..i love you lisa please take care of yourself..bye honey"

"Wait mom-" i didn't got to finish when the call already ended.i sigh and rest my back against the couch as my mind's gone blank , i couldn't figure out what was really happening

What did she means by the debts already have been paid?i still have 2 more weeks before i need to pay all of it

And about the money that got transfered to my mom's account , who sent it?

Only one person who came into my mind right now..
