Good Morning Team RWBY!

It was a beautiful sunny morning at Beacon Academy. The birds were singing in the trees and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Team RWBY was sound asleep in their beds. It was their second year here at the school and they had become close friends. First was Ruby Rose the young, bubbly and loveable team leader. She had short black hair with red tips that would swish in front of her Silver eyes. Second was Weiss Schnee, the fair heiress of one of the wealthiest families in Remnant. She had pure white hair and had light blue eyes like a mythical Dyre Wolf in a Blizzard. Third was Blake, the mysterious Faunas with piercing Amber eyes and midnight black hair. Lastly was Yang Xaio Long Ruby's older half-sister; she was the tallest of the four girls and the most athletically built. She had a beautiful main of golden blonde hair that flowed all the way down her back past her hips with the kindest Lilac eyes.

It was 7:30am on a Monday morning and the tranquility of this peaceful morning was abruptly interrupted by an alarm clock.

"Five more minutes." Yang grumbled.

"I'll get it." Ruby groaned dragging herself out of bed rubbing eyes.

She hopped out of her bed suspended in midair by a series of ropes and landed with a soft thud. Dragging her bare feet through the carpet as it comfortably slid between her toes she fumbled with the alarm clock to disarm its obnoxious whining. She raised her gaze to the curtains and drew them open which was met by several groans of protest from her teammates.

Ruby squinted her eyes from the sudden rush of sunlight flooding her dilated pupils. She reached forward and pushed the windows open to let the fresh morning air and the smell of freshly cut grass with morning's dew waft over she as she took in a deep breath.

"Ah what a beautiful morning!" Ruby sighed.

She looked over to her teammates and saw Yang was sitting upright with her eyes closed and her hands clasped between her legs letting the fresh air wash over her. Blake rose from her pillow next adjusting her bow as she headed to the washroom. Weiss was still wrapped in her covers with her head turned away from the light. Ruby rolled her eyes at the sight. They had been at Beacon now for two years and Weiss apparently still needed her beauty sleep.

"Weiss it's time to get up." Ruby said in a casual tone. "You know how you get if you miss breakfast."

Weiss didn't move. She did this a few times a week. Despite being the most punctual and studious member of the team save for Blake some days she would be such a pain to get out of bed. Ruby moved over to her partner and lightly shook her shoulder as she did Weiss began to softly groan in displeasure.

"Too comfy, go away Ruby." Weiss sighed into her pillow as she snuggled it tightly.

"Come on Weiss you know I won't stop bugging you until you wake up." Ruby whispered into her ear.

Weiss felt the warm breath on her ear and shifted slightly. Ruby had a lot of practice getting under the heiress' skin to get her butt in gear. She turned onto her back and opened her eyes slightly. Her stark white hair was splayed across her pillow framing her head and shoulders and her soft blue eyes contrasted with the orange light now flooding the room from the rising sun. Ruby's breathe hitched briefly as Weiss turned to look at her. She couldn't really place why but she quickly shook it off and smiled at her.

"Good morning sleeping beauty!" She said in a bubbly way that could only be Ruby.

"What time is it?" Weiss asked lazily.

Ruby whirled around to the clock and then looked back to her partner.

"7:46am!" She exclaimed. "Now let's get some breakfast I'm starving!"

She skipped away towards her uniform that was of course a heap on the floor and collected it in her arms. Weiss stretched her arms above her head as she rose and let out a dainty sigh. She smacked her lips and turned to see Ruby was looking at her with a blank expression on her face which she quickly changed to a smile when she noticed Weiss was returning her gaze.

"What?" Weiss quipped.

"Nothing!" Ruby said. "You're just so adorable when you wake up!"

Weiss raised her eyebrow and tilted her head slightly. "Whatever dork." She said as she swung her legs to the side of the bed and stood. "I'll be using the bathroom next." She finished matter of factly.

"Dibs!" Yang cut in as she dashed to the door with her things and stood guarding it.

"Hurmph!" Weiss chortled as she raised her chin and shut her eyes. "You're such a brute Yang Xaio Long!"

"I said dibs!" Yang shot back defiantly.

"She did call dibs Weiss." Ruby said meekly.
