You got home a while ago, you was waiting for your mom to come back from work, you was so excited to tell her that you passed your test, you did the best out of everyone in class.

You hear the door go, knowing your mom was back. You get off your bed and race to the door "hi mom" you say happily

Kara puts her handbag down and takes off her coat "hi sweetheart did you have a good day?" She asks

Your face lights up with excitement "it was such a good day, I did all of my homework and I got a B+ on my test" you say with a smile

Kara smiles back "that's great honey, I'm so proud of you"

You have been feeling frustrated and alone for the past few months as your mom had been going out with Lena Luthor, there was a hint of jealous but you were more upset that she didn't make any time for you since she's been with Lena, to say the least you was sick of it.

"NO! It's not okay if I go to aunt Alex's, your always with Lena now and you never spend anytime with me, I'm either home alone or with your sister when all I want to do is to spend time with you, you ask me this like I have a choice" you say before stomping off to your bedroom. Kara follows behind frowning "what's that supposed to mean?" She questions

You roll your eyes before sitting on your bed "it means I don't have a choice to do whatever because your still going to go out with Lena regardless Of what I say to you" you say angrily

Your mom's eyes darken with anger "y/n your being so selfish right now, stop it, it's only for one night" she says raising her voice

You scoffed "I'm being selfish? Are you kidding me? But it's not for one night though is it? It's been like this for months mom, you never prioritise me anymore, it's all about fucking Lena" you yell back

"Mom I wouldn't be like this if you spilt your attention but you don't, it's all about Lena now" you yelled out clenching your fists.

Your mom's eyes darken once more, giving you "look" like hell was burning in her eyes "phone now" she says through gritted teeth

You frown at her, gulping at your mom, if looks could kill you'd be dead right now "but I didn't do anything" you say

She shook her head at you "phone now, you do not get to talk to me like that and get away with it, so hand it over" she says

You roll your eyes "fine here" you say slapping it in her hand before closing the door on her. Kara stood behind banging on the door, "don't make me rip this door off it's hinges y/n" she shouts from the other side.

"No it's fine, you go on your date with Lena, have a great time" you say sarcastically

Kara rolled her eyes "your grounded for a week, no going out after school and no phone" she says before walking away

You flop onto your bed and hear the door go, meaning you're mom left to go meet Lena, you sigh, thinking to yourself.

20 minutes goes by and you hear the door open. You frown out of curiosity, maybe it's Kara coming back to apologise so you head to your door and open it, "mom?" You shout out, "is that you?" You say before you turn around and see a tall muscular man standing in the living room, your eyes widen, backing against the wall "wh-who are you?" You asked stuttering your words out of fear "where is Supergirl?" He asks before coming over to you and picking you up your t-shirt collar, pinning you up to the wall "I ASKED WHERE IS SUPERGIRL?" He shouts aggressively, you blink a couple of times before giving him an answer "I-I don't kn-now" you say trembling above the scary man
