A kingdom known for its beautiful valleys and majestic waterfalls, plush green lands, fertile soil which provided the kingdom with plenty fresh fruits and vegetables and green grass from which livestock could feed from freely.
The kingdom was well known for its wealth in gold, territory and knowledge of various magical beings. Ruled by a righteous and honourable king.
In the center of the kingdom, a bustling city called Redbridge was filled with children's laughter, the occasional dog barking, woman chattering while washing clothes, the dialogues of men and women haggling over prices of freshly baked bread, small trinkets and more. A casual day, until the sound of trotting horses and steel boots against cobblestone was heard making it's way to the city square.

"Make way for his majesty, King Edwin II and his sons, Prince Edwin III and Prince Kevin."

King Edwin II, a kind hearted man beloved by his people and admired by his two strong sons. His white horse, saddled and dressed with the kingdom's symbol of a red wolf with a black background, trotted into the square followed by two brown horses.

On the horse just behind the white one, rode the eldest prince.
Prince Edwin, next in line for the throne, but refuses to take his place as king, for he is yet to marry and provide an heir to the throne. Other than his brother and father, no one else knew that Edwin did not wish to marry in order to strengthen his kingdom, but rather for pure love only. The prince thought that if he were permitted his choice of time to marry, it would be fair that he wait till then to take full pledge as king of Cordonia, and meanwhile his father remains king.
His wavy light blond hair, bright forrest green eyes, sun kissed skin, soft features and high held head, as well tall and fit physique matched his open, socialising and leading personality.
His care, concern and determination to be a suited future king for his subjects, as well his understanding and knowledge of politics made him the perfect king to be.

His brother, younger by one year and following on the last horse, Prince Kevin was in a way the opposite. He was closed off from unnecessary conversations with men who only sought to strengthen their relationship with the royal family. Unlike his brother, Prince Kevin was quiet and kept to himself. He never bothered with attending fancy, dressed up balls and events for the full evening and disliked politics, making him unaware of news traveling from one kingdom to another, then to theirs. Though, he was not married nor engaged he did not seek romance, for his mind had become filled to the brim with madness and chaos. His own personal demons keeping him up at night, allowing him no rest.
He gladly found escape from the screams and anguish that filled his everyday thoughts when recently made commander of the knights and soldiers, spending most of his time training men and strategizing.
His dark brown windswept hair, rusty brown eyes, lightly tanned skin and sharp jawline accompanied with his strong posture and expressionless face perfectly suited his personality.

The king and blond prince climbed off their horses once they came to a halt in the square. The subjects made their way to their king and king to be, falling into conversation. The dark haired prince slowly made his way down his horse only to be joined by his two black wolves once his feet hit the ground.

"Father, look at the wolves." A young girl exclaimed excitedly, clutching to her father's hand while pointing to the wolves. "Can I pet them, father?"
The prince heard the girl ask and before her father could answer, he made his way to them kneeling before the girl with light brown hair and moss green eyes.

"You are a very brave girl to want to pet wolves. You remind me of someone I... know." He took the girl's free hand, extending it outwards and straightening her hand. Leaving it in mid air, he stood and with a click of his fingers in a small movement towards the girl one of the wolves slowly crept towards her out reached hand.
A few sniffs reassured the black furred animal and his snout came in contact with the delicate hand. The smile on the young girl's face was priceless in the eyes of the dark haired prince.
"What do we say, Abigail?" The smiling girl looked up to the prince.
"Thank you, Prince Kevin."

A tight pull of his lips was as much of a smile that anyone would receive. With a final nod, Prince Kevin made his way over to his father and brother.
The trio made their way to the stone platform, around which the people gathered.

"My dear people, today I bring unfortunate news. We have made a decision to go to war with Auvernal." Murmurs of concern and worry spread throughout the square.
"We have seven days in which to prepare and thereafter I ask that woman and children be careful when traveling. I ask that you travel between villages at a very minimum. Boys of age and men strong enough will be asked to fight in the soldier armies which will be under the command of Prince Kevin.
I apologize greatly, for war is something I dread and try at most to avoid, but this is justice for... for the wrong doings they have done and the threat they have become to the kingdom.
We will succeed, today, tomorrow and forever more."

The people cheer and clap in joy and unity, while the two princes stood quiet behind their father. One's face sorrowful and eyes filled with determination, while the other's usual expressionless face held eyes burning with fury and vengeance.
