They called us blessed at one point.

The government fears that we would soon rule the world due to our unnatural abilities.
Once we got our abilities, or even found out about them. They put us behind locked cages, a prison, just for being gifted.
We're treated differently for no reason, maybe it was fear that we struck in them.
