"Melanie Sanchez! What do you think you're doing!" I hear my mom scream from down below as I climb the apple tree in our backyard.
I should probably tell her that I climb trees taller than this one sometimes. I thought as I pick an apple and went back down only to be dragged into our house by the ear.
"Ow, ow, ow. Mom, mom! I'm sorry. Okay?" I say lightly holding my ear, as she drags me to the kitchen.
"What were you thinking?! Did you want me to have a heart attack?" I look down. But inside I was celebrating for being able to get an apple.
"Nope." I say popping my p, "Like I said, mama, I'm sorry. Won't happen again." I say, placing a kiss on her cheek and washing the apple on the sink before heading up the stairs laughing as I heard mom grumbling, to my bedroom which I share with my sister,
Which is a lie, cause I love climbing trees waay too much for me to stop.
I enter my room and chomp on the sweet sweet apple, grabbing a blue journal from the bookshelf and opening it to a page called Melanie's Supercalifragilistic Bucket List. Long, I know, but also, Supercalifragilistic!
I then crush out one of the things on the list. Ah, one down, 99 more to go!
