Joshua Vignona packed up the car and traveled with his kids to the airport a little early that morning, hoping to get settled on the flight and get his family's very first Disney World vacation underway as quickly as possible.

"Daddy, do you think they have tigers and goats at the animal park?" said 6-year-old Jimmy, eagerly looking up at his father as they stood in line to board. "I bet they have tigers and goats and lions and EVERYTHING!"

"I really wanna see the animals, too, but Harry Potter is the best," replied his 8-year-old sister, Kim, who had talked of nothing but wizardly antics and magic messenger owls for two weeks straight. "We're going to the Harry Potter place, right daddy?"

Joshua Vignona chuckled and glanced at his watch. "Of course, munchkin!" he said while tussling Kim's hair and turning to Jimmy. "And I bet there's all kinds of animals at the park, even lions!"

The traveling trio shuffled their way forward as Vignona handed three boarding passes to the attendant at the gate. Following a quick scan and several rapid orbits around their father, the two feverishly excited youngsters bolted down the jetway, slowed only by the mass of people and luggage gathering at the front of the plane.

"Hey guys, be careful!" shouted Vignona, pulling the family's carry-on bags down the ramp. "We'll all get there soon. I promise."

Vignona nudged the two forward as the young family inched closer to their seats. Once at their row, Kim and Jimmy were seated, buckled and immersed in giggles even before Josh had finished loading their bags in the overhead compartment.

'Travel with kids.' thought Vignona, nearly bursting into laughter. 'Always an adventure.'
