This Diary I Found

From the wattpad first reading list containing stories with more than 100 000 reads I decided to pick the first on that caught my eye. Yes, it's This Diary I Found
and the reason it was so eye catching is because of the suspension the cover story had.
I loved how simple the cover is being a bit playful and yet the cover story is like a contradictory slutty, witty and hormones enraged description.

So I don't judge a book by its cover and even though the cover is cool I dived into the story and watched the characters come to life. That is the second thing I was happy about while reading this story. The writer diwatera managed to show Trevor, the main character and narrator of the story, as a shallow teenage boy who is insensitive and self absorbed which was the side to him that needed to be corrected. I liked that I was able to visually see him realise how much of a jerk he was being.

The writer diwatera then slowly introduced Trevors charming side,His insecurities all the not so cringy personality aspects. I especially liked and this is probably my favourite sides to him, is when he is so willing to help his sister with homework or looking after her after school and how much that proves tgat he is capable of being decent and loving.

Trevor opens his heart and realises that people actually have feelings and his actions affect those feelings. This is heart warming. But less on the main character I liked the vibe that the characters brought to the table. Everyone in the story had qualities I especially liked,

Sage had me fooled from the word go. She has a spontaneous, confident brave and carefree side. All good sides to her that I liked. And she is talented too.

Louie although you would expect him to be a snob and all high and mighty he is infact the male version of a best friend enough brains and decency to get sense into Trevors brains. His not perfect but perfect is boring right.

The writer wrote through the story with just enough suspension to keep me hooked, a tinge bit of sassy humor and I especially enjoyed how well written diwatera was in her Chapters. There was a beautiful flow to the story and I honestly felt like I was reading a best seller. Thank you for a really good read.
