"kim minnie!" han jisung yelled waving his hands side to side, greeting his best friend who was about to cross the street. "hi dummy, how are you?" she responded while hugging the young man. "i'm good, princess. how are y- why are your eyes so puffy?!" he scolded his friend. "did you cry last night?" she nodded, her smile becoming a frown. "noo my best friend can't cry... are you feeling lonely again?" she nodded once again, looking at jisung with teary eyes. "baby don't cry. do you want to have a sleepover today? i can call the guys." "please!" the girl said, a smile coming back to her face. "okay, we'll tell them at lunch, now we have to work, let's go."

"minnie can you help me with this logotype please please please..." "sure felix give me a second." "you're too nice, you're always helping him." minho said. "i always help you too and i don't see you complaining about that." minnie replied, the rest of the guys laughing in the background. "because i need attention and you're the only one that gives it to me." "aww minho, i'll give you attention." jisung said making a kissy face. "shut up, minnie is the only one i want." "how old are you guys? three?" seungmin  laughed.

jyp was a very popular graphic design company in korea in which the environment was always like this. everyone was constantly laughing or smiling, no frowns were ever present with them, at least not in department 4419. lee minho, kim minnie, han jisung, lee felix and kim seungmin have been working together for the past two years but their friendship is as if they've been friends since kindergarten.

han jisung, minnie's best friend since middle school and the main mood maker of the team. he met minnie when a kid was making fun of him. "you think you're all important and cool huh jisung?" park seohyun yelled at the smaller boy. "well you aren't! nobody here likes you so stop pretending you're all talented and shit, you don't even sing or rap that well." he said, pushing the other boy to the floor. the entire class was watching the scene, everyone too scared to say anything against the bully. "hey you! who do you think you are to yell at him! leave him alone." a brown haired girl said coming through the doors of what was going to be her classroom for the rest of the year. "who do you think you are new girl?" "your worst nightmare if you don't leave him alone." kim minnie responded to the tall boy. she was pretty scared but she didn't care, she knew this wasn't fair and she wasn't going to just let it be like the rest of her classmates. "oh really? and what are you going to do?" the boy said laughing at her, han jisung was still lying on the floor shocked, looking at the scene happening in front of him. "oh you have no idea." she whispered so nobody could hear her. she grabbed his right arm, twisting it and moving it to his back. he immediately fell to his knees, screaming in pain. "apologize to him." she said, gritting her teeth. the boy didn't say anything though so she twisted his arm a little more. she didn't want to hurt him, just make him apologize. "i told you to apologize!" "i'm sorry okay! i'm sorry." she let go of his arm and grabbed jisung's hand, pulling him to his feet and leaving the classroom hand in hand. "thank you for that, nobody has ever stood up for me before." the boy thanked her. "i'm gonna have to show you how to stick up for yourself then. i'm minnie by the way, kim minnie." "han jisung." the young boy said smiling. since that day jisung has been thankful to the world for giving him such an amazing person like minnie. he became a better him thanks to her. he's so much more confident and happy now and he'll be forever grateful.

nowadays, jisung has his own music group with some of his best friends: bangchan and changbin. they sing, rap and produce their songs and they also perform almost every weekend at a local bar just for fun. and, of course, minnie has always been supportive of jisung's passion. she met changbin and chan a few years ago and now they're all a really big group of friends.

"okay guys we're doing a sleepover tonight!" jisung announced to his teammates. "are changbin and chan going too?" felix asked. "yeah, i just texted them. my place, you can come whenever you want to, i won't be doing anything let's be honest." minnie laughed. "wait, can i ask jeongin too?" "don't worry, seungmin, i already told him." minnie said smiling. they were having lunch at the company's cafeteria when someone walked in, interrupting the conversation. "hi guys, can i seat?" the group looked up to see kang seohyeon. she was a nice girl who also worked at jyp design, not in the same office though so they didn't really talk too much to her. minho, seungmin and felix got along with her pretty well; minnie didn't really care too much, she thought the girl was sweet but she had never had an actual conversation with her. jisung, on the other hand, couldn't stand her, she hasn't done anything to him but something was telling him he just couldn't trust her.

"oh hi seohyeon, sure you can sit with us." minho told the girl. "so, do you have any plans for tonight?" seohyeon asked the group. "actuall-" "no, we're not doing anything tonight, you?" jisung interrupted seungmin since he didn't want her to come to the sleepover. he loves his friends but they're way too nice and can never say no. "oh, umm not really, just work i guess." "ah that's good for you, you're being productive. well everyone, minnie and i have a lot of things to do so byeeeee. bye seohyeon." he said standing up, grabbing minnie's hand and waving goodbye at the confused group who sat at the table. "umm bye..." minnie said while being dragged across the company by her bestfriend.

"why did you do that?" she asked jisung when they were back at the office. "minnie, you know i don't trust her. you all think she's nice and all but i've seen the way she looks at you, she's clearly jealous of you." "jisung calm down, why would she be jealous of me? out of all people." "could you stop that attitude! you always tell me to be confident but you never follow your own advice. you're such a talented and nice girl and your smile always makes everyone's day so stop saying people couldn't be jealous of someone as amazing as you." tears were visible in minnie's eyes. she's been having problems with loving herself since high school so whenever one of the boy's tell her what they think about her, she tends to get pretty emotional. "i love you, you know that?" the sentimental girl told her best friend. "i know, and i love you." jisung said hugging the girl. "okay stop those tears and let's get to work. the sooner we get out of work, the sooner the sleepover will start."
