Only For The Better

CHAPTER 1

It was 8:30 pm and Vanessa was alone at home she had just sat down to watch the television when the lights went. Vanessa heard a series of different noises coming from her kitchen, with fear shifting and shivering down her spine she went to take a look. After taking baby like steps in the kitchen she only saw multiple shadows hovering above her. With a quick reaction , Vanessa ran but to her demise she was captured and taken away. After being passed out from knockout gas Vanessa woke up thinking it was a nightmare but to then realize that she is in an abandoned building. She screamed for help which felt like hours sweating with tears slowly trickling down her face. Vanessa started to loose all hope she was stuck and embraced by terror and fear. She was surrounded by darkness thinking to herself "How am I going to escape here? I wanna leave and see the light" All of this reminiscing through her head she screamed but only for it to echo and fade in the emptiness. She lifelessly lean against the wall, slid down and rolled up into a trance and cried softly thinking "Is... this H-how I'm G-gonna end?" A light voice in her head said "your doubt are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt".
