'Yep got it'
'Look I'm about to go to my first meeting, I gotta...'
Before I knew it my books, which had previously been in my right hand and phone in my left went flying onto the floor in front of me.
I sigh, already running 10 minutes late to my first official meeting.
'oh nelly' I hear from whoever had just caused me to be another 5 minutes late.
'Please, watch where you are going next time' I begin to pick the books up, and look up at the blue eyed boy towering over me.
'You just going to stand their?' I raise an eyebrow, placing each book in my lap as I try to gain some composure again.
'I guess so' he let out the widest grin I've ever seen before finally placing a hand out to help me get up off the floor.
'Thanks' I groan, taking his hand before rushing off towards where I believed I should be heading.
'Room 231, 232, ah here! 233' I beam, swinging the door open.
'I am so sorry for being late, today has not been my day' I drop my pile of books onto the desk and begin to take off my shoulder bag and retrieve my laptop, 'I hope I didn't miss too much'.
'Ms Brookes, this is not acceptable on your first day! I expected better from you' In front of me sat 6 younger men and two older women, presumably their managers.
'I know, and all I can do is apologise its just..'
I was cut off by the door closing behind me 'it was me, I made her late by bumping into her on her way in.'
I turn my head to greet the familiar cheeky grin I had seen just a few moments ago, he stood with two trays of coffee in his hand placing them down on the table and handing them out, passing the last one to me.
'Okay, anyway lets begin with a bit of an introduction then' One of the women announces standing up from the table, 'Myself, Katie and my colleague here will leave you alone with the boys so you can start designing the website, I expect big things.'
I nod wearily before the two women leave the office.
'Don't worry about them, they are just the guns of this operation' One of the boys speaks up before standing and walking round the table to greet me, 'I'm Ethan' he smiles before shaking my hand.
'Ruby' I gleam looking around the room and readjusting my glasses before each boy introduces themselves to me.
'Right so Ethan, Harry, Tobi, Simon, Vik, JJ and Josh' I giggle slightly after finally getting each of their names right.
I pull my laptop screen open and connect it to the big screen we had been provided in the meeting room.
'So, I've come up with a few ideas already for your clothing website' I frown at my screen pulling open a few design I had already played around with.
'Of course, they will need a bit of tweaking and all your approval, but these are the basic ideas' I present each one to the group of eager boys in front of me.
'That one!' JJ jumps up from his seat and strolls over the the board, 'I like this, I think we should run with this'.
I smile, as all the boys nod and hum in approval.
We spent the next 45 minutes changing a few minor details and preparing a logo idea but I was quite satisfied after the session, these boys seemed to know exactly what they wanted and clearly cared about their audience a lot.

As I packed up my stuff I felt a warm presence behind me, 'I never got to apologise for bumping into you back their'.
A small smile spreads across my lips as I turn around to greet the same blonde-haired boy as before, 'don't worry about it, I have to thank you for getting me out of trouble with your managers' I laugh, placing my bag over my shoulder.
'I think me and the boys were going to go grab some lunch now if you wanted to join us, I mean of course you don't have to but it would just be nice to get to know you considering we will be working together from now' He flushed a slight pink colour and stumbled as he spoke.
I nod gently, 'so where are we going then?'.

'There is no way we are the first people you have worked with' Simon, Vik and I strolled along, on our way to Nando's.
'Yeah, believe it or not, I'm fresh out of university, hence the books' I laugh nodding down to my bag holding the few books that carried me through my degree. 'It took me forever to get this job but after submitting like 100 applications, I finally got accepted'.
'Well all I can say is you're very talented' Simon grins, opening the door to Nando's for me.
I thank him before walking in and taking a seat at the table, the rest of the boys had already gotten there before us as they ran ahead, I sit next to JJ and Ethan whilst Harry and Josh sit opposite me.
We all went up and ordered our food and just chatted away whilst waiting for it to be brought out.
'So where did you go to university?' Josh smiles handing me some napkins and a knife and fork.
'I went to university in Nottingham, I studied graphic design their for three years and moved to London with my best friend literally not even a month ago for more career opportunities and clearly thats worked out quite well for me.' I smile taking a sip of my drink, 'how did all you guys meet?'
We spent the next hour or so just getting to know one another, I found out that me JJ, Simon and Tobi all live in the same building which made it even easier for me if they need me to do any work for them.
After lunch I said my goodbyes to all the boys before leaving and heading back home to spent the rest of my day curled up in bed watching netflix.
