"Yeah, um, I was invited by Hinata to join you guys for tea," Naruto replied to the Hyuga. He nervously smiled at him and tried not to seem too nervous under his stare. Neji furrowed his eyebrows at the stranger in front of him, taking in his appearance. 

"And who might you be? Lady Hinata didn't mention we would be having company this afternoon." Naruto almost snorted at the way that guy was talking. He couldn't be much older than he was and here he was talking like some guy from the 18th century. 

"I'm Uzumaki Naruto. I work with her and go to the medical university here in Konoha. I'm also the guy she had a baby with." He finished introducing himself with one of his signature grins, making Neji almost lunge at him after registering just what he said.

"So you're the guy who bailed on my little cousin." The male Hyuga said and glared at the Uzumaki. "Come inside before I knock you out on our front porch." He finished and opened the door wider for the blond to come inside. Now, Naruto wasn't proud of his introduction but he concluded that he might as well just get it over with. He was going down either way and he might as well be truthful from the start.

"It's a nice house you got there. Big and spacious." The Uzumaki complimented as he walked further into the house. He took in the drawing-room where everyone was already sitting in. Hiashi was just sipping on his tea when the blond guy walked in, carrying a big silver box in his hand. Hanabi almost dropped the scone that she was eating when she saw the similarity between him and the little toddler that was sitting on a loveseat sofa next to his mother and her sister. 

"Everyone, meet Uzumaki Naruto, the guy that got Hinata pregnant," Neji said as he came in after the blond. The young Hyuga could feel the anger radiating off his uncle as the elder Hyuga put his tea down on the coffee table in the middle of the room. 

Hinata motioned Hanabi to leave the room with Boruto but the brown-haired Hyuga was shaking her head frantically, wanting to see how everything plays out because Hanabi just loved drama. She finally caved in after Hinata put Boruto into her lap and left the drawing-room with the toddler.

After the two left the room, Hiashi finally decided to speak out: "So you're the bastard that impregnated my little girl. I guess it was time for you to finally face the consequences of your illegitimate conception," he spoke and glared at the Uzumaki.

"Say what you want but I'm stepping up to be Boruto's father and I really don't care what you guys have to say about it. It may be a bit too late but it's better too late than never. I am here now and I'm not leaving. I'm here to stay." Naruto replied to his now, kind of, father in law. 

"I must say I am impressed. You have some guts to be marching in here like you never did anything wrong. For the sake of my grandchild and my daughter's, you are a part of our family. But beware, I will be watching your every move and every mistake that you make." Hiashi threatened and gave him a harsh glare to seal the speech.

"I understand, sir. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to speak to Hinata and my son." 

"I will also keep watch over everything that you do, Uzumaki," Neji added and watched Naruto squirm under his gaze. The blond nodded his head at him and then pulled Hinata out of the drawing-room, to the hallway. 

Hinata couldn't help but laugh at Naruto's misfortune. His face was red from embarrassment, still carrying the box in his hand. "I thought you were going to pee yourself." She said and clutched over in laughter. Naruto couldn't help but join her laughter. 

Whilst they were laughing, Hanabi came out of the kitchen where she left to with Boruto. She looked at them with raised eyebrows and her hands folded in front of her chest. "If you two are done laughing, I wanna know about everything that happened. Tell me all the tea." She said, her eyes glistening in interest.
