Alright losers so apparently people use toasters to make toast that's, like, mediocre at best??
Here's your wattpad gay dad's easy recipe on how to make BRILLIANT french toast, perfect for quarantine time.

Ingredients:

-bread. Any kind works, though I do prefer french bread myself (if you don't slice your own bread I'll be disowning you)

-milk. Once again, any kind works although the flavour will vary depending on which milk you choose. I do prefer heavy milk for french toast myself, it just seems a bit more flavorful.

-a PINCH of salt, just to balance the flavors out, kay? A PINCH. Don't be like my sister who adds a tablespoon because she likes how salt tastes. That is just a heart attack waiting to happen, see? Good.

-sweetener. They're great, you don't gotta have one I guess but it's definitely better if you do... in my opinion at least. (If you don't know what sweetener to use, here are some options:

•honey- my personal favourite

•maple syrup

•coconut sugar

•confectioners sugar)

-Flavourings. Vanilla extract and cinnamon to be exact

-butter. Just for cooking, but you can also add a pat for serving as well.

Method:

1. Whisk the eggs, milk, sweetener, cinnamon and vanilla into a dish that you can dip the bread into.

2. Once it's whisked to be nice and fluffy (if there's a lot of bubbles, you know it's right), you gotta place the bread slice on one side and then flip it over to the other side quickly since some sandwich breads absorb the liquid real quick. Repeat this process with however many slices of bread you have *if you haven't sliced your own bread, you're dead to me. I know you have the time. We're in quarantine* Make sure you're quick with this step otherwise your toast will become soggy and you do not want that.

3. Once both sides are coated with the magic liquid, place them into a skillet with melted butter over medium heat. They take a few minutes to cook, about 2-3 minutes on each side should work (tip: heat up your skillet first and instead of butter, put oil in the skillet after it's heated up. Hot pan + cold oil = no stick. My dad taught me this, he's nice.)

4. Serve immediately with syrup if you so wish. I do like syrup.

Enjoy, my wattpad children!
