It's just before 8am on a beautiful Thursday morning. The birds are singing and the trees are rustling in the light breeze. An alarm clock goes off in the bedroom upstairs.
"Yawn, oh my we're flying to Katie's house today! I better wake up Leonie," says Lexi.
"Leonie, time to wake up. Leonie! LEONIE!!!"
Lexi gets out of bed and grabs her tennis racket to hit Leonie on the head.
Leonie springs up and says "Hey! What was that for?"
"Well you weren't getting up so..." explains Lexi.
"Ugh do I have to leave my bed?"
"Yes we're flying to Katie's house today!"
"Oh right, I'll get up."
The girls get up to pack their suitcases. Lexi places everything gently in her bags, while Leonie grabs the closest items and shoves it in her bags.
"Aren't you excited?" asked Lexi.
"Yea, I wonder what fun adventure we'll get to go on this year!"
"Hmmm will we be able to top last years?"
"Maybe. But as long as we get slushies, then I'll be a happy girl!"
"Ready to go?" asked Lexi.
"Yup, let's blow this pop stand!"
