Tsuchigomori had a plan. He couldn't rest properly because of Hanako's dark moods so he decided to cheer him up, Tsuchigomori knew that Hanako was close to the 8th mystery but he didn't expect Hanako to become all depressed because of her death.

It pissed him off.

Eversince Hanako saw Misoki at the fountain, he literally guarded it.

He would not leave it for a second and Tsuchigomori knew it stressed the new mystery out, she still couldn't remember Hanako and since she remembered Tsuchigomori, he figured she would remember Hanako soon enough too, eventhough it was taking her a long time, Tsuchigomori didn't seem to want to give up.

Each morning before Hanako ran down to the fountain, Tsuchigomori had a quick session with Misoki, he would ask multiple questions about Hanako and then he'd try to remind her of some adventures or memories she shared with Hanako.

Nothing seemed to work...

"Do you remember anything yet?" He constantly asked between sentences, "No, not really..." Was normally her answer.

She did find the ghost boy familiar but she didn't know why, her mind and memories were completely muddled, everything seemed to be a blur, whenever she tried t remember him, there was nothing. All she knew was his name Hanako and this was only because Tsuchigomori told her.

"Okay... Let's try this again." He sighed, he was getting a bit impatient with the youg spirit and he wasn't afraid to show it.

"I'm sorry. I just, I don't think I will be able to remember him..." She mumbled, with tears in her eyes.

'Great, he had made her cry.'

"Look, whether or not you will be able to remember him yourself, I will be here to help you. So stop crying and do your best." He explained, patting her head gently.

"Why is this so important anyway? It's not like he's going to visit me, I'm dead after all..." Misoki whispered.

Tsuchigomori clicked his tongue, "You'd be surprised kid." He said, then without a word he started walking back to the school.

~~ Time Skip ~~

Misoki wanted to know more about Hanako, of course she did, after all he was all her past teacher would talk about. Over time she grew more and more curious so she took Tsuchigomori's advice and did her best to try and remember the boy.

Hanako made his way to the fountain, it became a sort of routine for him.

He did indeed get a glimpse of his 'Beloved Misoki' as he would call her but he never got the chance to speak to her. It pissed him off so he didn't plan on stopping spying on her for a while.

Hanako took a seat on the bench that was situated right beside the fountain, he breathed in. It was cold outside the morning frost made the air feel heavy, but Hanako didn't mind, he was an appariton after all.

Tsuchigomori stepped outside and shivered slightly, the air was extremely cold that day, something he hated, as he walked down to the back of the school, he felt really tired another thing he hated about mornings.

Misoki could hear Tsuchigomori approaching, even though she was hidden away in her boundary she knew when he was coming, but today, Tsuchigomori wasn't the only spirit she could feel near her, it was that annoying boy that would come down and stay around her boundary for the whole day, this she felt was a bad habit of his.

"Tsuchigomori?" She called out, as she emerged from her boundary.

Hanako's eyes widened.

Tsuchigomori sighed. He knew this would happen some time or another.

"Misoki...?" Hanako hesitated, Misoki turned her head calmly, not knowing what was going on. "Uh, hi?" She answered quietly.

"Hanako," Tsuchigomori started.

Misoki gasped, she felt butterflies in her stomach. This boy, he was the Hanako? The Hanako Tsuchigomori had been speaking about for the last few days?

"What are you doing here?" Tsuchigomori asked, as if he didn't already know. Hanako ignored the question and stared at Misoki in awe.

Finally.

He could see her again.
