Hitokori and Raspin racing together
Hitokori: Your going too fast!
Raspin: Your going too slow!
They sit in the shade of a tree, it's the only tree in a flower field
Hitokori: Hey brother?
Raspin: Yes?
Hitokori; Dad said something about us going on a mission tonight, are we going to die?
Raspin; No, no you won't, you'll always be with me
Raspin holds his paw out, a way as if reaching out to Hitokori, but at the same time had his paw turned in a sideways like way
Raspin; We will always be brothers, and brothers protect one another, even if we were to kill each other, we'd always be brothers, never. EVER forget that.
Hitokori, looking up to see the gentleness of Raspin's eyes and places his paw under Raspin's, as if they were making a secret handshake
Hitokori; yeah, Brothers forever...
Nighttime:
Hitokori and Raspin are inside with their mother and father
Father: Alright kids, this will be your first family mission, we've trained you since birth for this
Hitokori: What is the mission?
Mother: Were going to kill!
Raspin is there, a smile on his face, but says nothing
Hitokori: why are we going to kill?
Raspin, completely shocked
Raspin: it was what you were born to do!
Hitokori: I don't understand
Mother: honey, the people were about to kill has done some pretty bad things, ok?
Hitokori sees the complete lie in his mother, but pretends to not notice
Father: No more time to waste let's go
-You can time skip to where they get to the family-
Hitokori sees the cats they're about to kill, a family of 5, one extra cat than their own family. What surprises Hitokori even more is that there was a kit, no more than a moon old. The family was by themselves, completely unknown to their fate.
Hitokori felt sick
Raspin, and their mother and father race ahead, immediately going for the kill, Hitokori grabs the little kit quickly, and runs, hiding the kit in a hole under a tree.
Raspin: Hitokori! What are you doing?
Hitokori: saving her!
Raspin: are you insane?
Hitokori; are YOU?! We have no reason to kill! Now go!
Their parents both come in front of Hitokori, Hitokori sees Raspin run off, but ignores it
Hitokori looks up at his parents angrily unsheathing his claws.
His parents look in surprise. Then his father growls
Father: don't make me kill you
Hitokori: don't make me kill you! Your not even my real father!
His "father" looks in surprise
Mother: you knew?
Hitokori: yes! I've always snook out to meet my step mother and my real father!
His parents look in surprise, Hitokori doesn't give them anymore time.
His uses ice to cover around the hole, but gives it space on the top so there was light shining through.
Hitokori lightly burns his mothers leg, then tears her throat out. Then jumps on top of his "father" then goes for the kill, biting his neck til he hears bone.
He pants a little, then melts the ice that was a shield for the kit. He grabbed the kit out of the hole and placed her on the floor gently. He helped get her to her legs, carefully guiding her away from the bodies of everyone.
Everyone but Raspin.
Hitokori whispers: I thought we were family. I thought we were brothers.
The ghost of his "father" laughs; an assassin who doesn't want to kill is never family. Hitokori ignores it, and guides the kit away, into the forest, making sure she can't see the bodies. Hitokori takes one last glance at the scene behind him and walks into the darkness of the forest. Then Raspin jumps down. From a nearby tree
Raspin: this isn't the end... it'll never be the end...
