September 1, 2016: Virgil's and Aella's first Day of School

Virgil squeezes his backpack strap tightly and gulps nervously. New school, new kids, new bullies... He deeply breathes in and then out and pushes his anxiety away. Someone suddenly jumps on him, causing him to jump violently.

Aella, his little sister, was leaning on his back with a smile. She always smiled even in the most terrible situations, she always made Virgil feel better by the end of day, no matter what was thrown his way.

"C'monnnnnnn I want to meet people!" she exclaims.

A few people looked there way, causing Virgil to feel embarrassed.

"Get off me Aella, people are staring" Virgil hisses angrily pushing her off.

"Who cares? Let them stare!" Aella exclaims.

She notices them staring and then proceeds to glare at them, "OI! Have you never seen sisterly love! Get outta here!" she yells to them.

They jump at her remarks and scurry off with their heads down.

"Oh my god Aella" Virgil mutters.

"What! You've protected me enough and looked out for me basically my entire life, it's my return to return the favor" she exclaims.

She snakes her arm around his and drags him into the school.

"Aella!" he exclaims.

She just laughs and begins to go faster.

"Ahh!" he exclaims.

As they rush past people they hear them mutter rude incoherent things about them. Aella ignores them but Virgil hears them.

"Aella stop" he says seriously.

"No way!" she exclaims.

"Aella!" he exclaims as she unhooks her arm and he goes flying. He runs into someone and causes them both to fall. He dizzily looks around and sees the person in front of him.

"Oh my god he rammed into Aiden" someone whispers in a crowd surrounding him.

"Hey! What the fuck you little punk!" the guy growls. He grips the front of Virgil's T-shirt tightly and glares at him.

"Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-" Virgil exclaims.

"Oh yeah punk?! Should've thought of that before knocking into me" he growls.

"Look man I said sorry" Virgil says angrily.

"I don't care!" he replies and throws him to the ground and he himself stands up.

He spits at him and then chuckles. "The name is Aiden, don't forget it Freak" Aiden says walking away with two other boys laughing.

"Woah are you ok dude?" someone asks him.

"I'm fine" Virgil says getting up.

"Oh ok, hey... your new right? What's your name? My name is Carter" Carter says sweetly.

"Hey the name is Virgil" Virgil says.

"Cool name, it's different, and in my opinion being different is better" Carter says.

"Virgil! I'm so sorry this is all my fault!" Aella exclaims with fear.

"Don't worry about it Aella it's not your fault" Virgil says.

"Oh ok... whos this?" she asks.

"His name is Carter" Virgil says.

Carter has black ripped jeans on with a grey turtleneck on. He had a matching beanie and a nose piercing with black faux plugs. His bangs covered his right eye and the end of his bangs were dyed red. He had a splatter of blue on his cheek.
