Kim Jae Hee- new transfer student to Minwha’s high school. She had some regrets in leaving the previous school and  her friends who were so dear to her.

It was so easy for Jae Hee to mingle with her friends. But people had no idea what she would be doing with her friends? We'll, she simply sits, listen to her friends and nod her head. When she was awake, she observes them. Jae Hee opens her mouth and replies only if it was necessary. And most of the time, she sleeps! What a life!!!!-

But for her friends? Jae Hee's friends found it difficult to approach her because of hers silent and direct spoken personality. Since she was honest with her opinions--never been harsh with whatever she says to her friends-- and never used to lie, others usually found her as 'boring' in the beginning.

Gradually students understood her nature and loved her for who she was because everyone always saw her as an 'unique' girl. She got her own set of friends...Even if they were few in number, they were part of her world. Her friends told Jae Hee that her charm was being the soft innocent girl that many were not aware of because usually she was not the type to be approached easily. She gave a cold aura and honest one word replies that never made anyone to feel comfortable around her.

She was thinking on her way to the new school, “It’s going to be difficult to create new friends in this new school or should I say students are going to suffer because of me. No problem, it’s the fate of my new friends to spend next two years with me.”

It was not a big deal for her to cover up the subjects, since she was an all rounder in academics and sports. Ok, now I am a bit exaggerating about Jae Hee's limit... Yes, she shines in academics as well as in sports because she works hard. However, before enrolling her name in this school as a high school student, she decided to focus on academics alone, for she got reasons for making that hard decision.

She also had some insecurity feelings towards her peers. She needed to change schools because of her father’s impermenance in job and his salary was not sufficient enough to manage a family of five members. Once again, Jae Hee's father searched for a proper job and as a result, they had to move to a new city. For Jae Hee, finding a new school each time was difficult. Therefore, her parents made her to join in Minwha’s school.

That school was particularly strict with  students and as everyone knew, high school seniors were expected to stay at school till night 8 pm and prepare for college entrance.  Minwha's school made it compulsory for students to stay in dorms after school and study even when their houses were nearby. Good thing, Minwha's was receiving many funds for students support and paying fees had never been a problem students of Minwha's. In return the school expected only hard work, positive result and improvement everytime from students.

Jae Hee totally disagree with the idea of staying in dorm since she was not a sociable person and it was hard for her to stay with other students day and night. However, it was her father’s decision to join in Minwha’s, so she could not protest. There was no other way but to adjust with this new environment.

It was a beautiful morning. She never wished to go late for the first day of school. So she got ready at 6.30 AM for her 7.30 AM school. I knew it's a bit early. But what to do, Jae Hee was a bit curious.

While she started from dorm to school, in her usual Army Battalion March past walking style, she suddenly looked at a boy riding bike- crossed without slowing down while passing her! A student... and that too- in high speed inside school premises. Ah... She hates that. She sighed and scolded him in her mind for not obeying the rules. 15 KM speed inside school grounds.
-----------------
Sorry to say this but Jae Hee was a strict disciplinarian. She follows the rules and regulations of Government, traffic, church, school, some said by her parents and what not?- sincerely.
Not only that, she also made her friends to follow the rules and gladly destroyed their happiness every-single-time. In other words, with Jae Hee, it was always struggling and no partying. "Break some rules" got no space in Jae Hee's dictionary.

Jae Hee's mother always thanked her husband for refusing to comply their child's decision when she told her dream was to enlist her name in Army and become an Army Officer. Thank goodness, so many soldiers’ lives…No, the whole Nation’s Freedom and happiness was saved on that glorious day.
