I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS FROM THAT SERIES BECAUSE THEY ALL BELONG TO JOANNE KATHLEEN (J.K.) ROWLING! WHAT SHE DIDN'T ORIGINATE IS MY CREATION!

-CHAPTER ONE-

My Weird Life

When I look back on my life, I realize just how messed up I actually am. Sure, I have two great friends and a boyfriend who is ready to die for me, but I had a weird life.

Maybe I thought that it was so weird because I was a witch.

I had been going to a school called Hogwarts, School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry for seven years. I had met my best friends and my saviours at that school, or at least, they were somehow linked to the school. My friends? Lily Potter, Tom Andrews, and Garrett Grey. My saviours Professor Neville Longbottom and Professor Harry Potter.

I had been adopted into the Potter family when I was eleven years old. I was an only child before then and my parents might as well been dead. In fact, it would probably be better if they were. Though I tried to love them, I have always doubted that they loved me. I haven’t spoken to them for six years. I stopped my contact with them when I was twelve. Sure every summer I would get a letter and some money for my birthday, but that was it. I haven’t seen them either, but personally, that was fine by me.

The only thing that my parents ever gave me was food, water, and some clothes. That was it. I’m not over exaggerating either. I lived in the basement of my house ever since I was two and could “sleep on my own”. I had a small mattress down on the cement flooring that was dirty. My parents have given me a pillow and a fleece blanket, but that was it. I could remember vividly having a medium sized cardboard box with all of my clothes in it. There wasn’t a lot, but enough. I had a school uniform so my parents didn’t have to spend money on school clothing.

Not only that, but my parents liked to use me as a punching bag whenever they needed to relieve themselves of anger, stress, or tension. My mother wasn’t too bad. She would only slap me across the face. That was easy to take. My father liked to punch me in the stomach and anywhere else that he could manage. I could remember one time I was black and blue all over and I had to miss a whole week of school and it took me forever to catch up.

So, being a witch, being adopted, and having unloving parents did make my life unique. There was no exception about it.

But my life was still colourful. As I grew up, nothing about me was normal, even besides the fact that I was a witch. My best friend had gotten pregnant and Garrett and I were the child’s godparents. I had gotten in trouble with the law a couple of times, and I still had health problems, no matter what happened to me.

But I have to say that the weirdest thing to happen to me must’ve been a couple of days ago, almost a week and a half ago. I don’t exactly know how it all happened, but all I know now is that I am now trying to find my adopted family with the help of Lily, Tom, and Garrett. All of our lives were at stake and Lily was hanging onto her child for dear life to make sure that he wouldn’t disappear as well.

I don’t care if I would die though. I would gladly give my life up for Harry. He did the same to me and I need to give everything he did for me back to him. Of course I could never actually do that, but I could at least try. Harry was my real father and my protector. I needed to give back to him what he had done for me.

And believe me, I would do anything to make sure of that. It’s why I’m in Slytherin after all. I’d do anything to achieve my ends.
