Only thing that's burning when the night grows cold
the male sat in his small apartment on the slightly worn out couch. he couldn't help but think of the only thing on his mind, Haneul. the woman was his everything. the only one who understood what he had gone through as she was always there for him.

Although Haneul was there for him during his darkest times, she confused the boy. He had no idea how she genuinely felt about him. The girl was hot and cold. She'd go from clinging to him, giving him her heart. To screaming at him, pushing all of his love away.
Every little lie gives me butterflies
Every fight the two shared would end in Doyoung leaving and Haneul begging him to stay. She'd say sweet things to him, making him not want to leave. All though Doyoung knew what she would say to him wasn't true. He'd stay, every little word that left her lips giving him butterflies
Talk so pretty but your heart got teeth
Although when the two weren't fighting, the moments they shared were sweet. They enjoyed the times were they could cuddle each other and forget about any of their problems. Doyoung always swooned over the things Haneul would say to him. "I love you" the girl said running a finger through his hair as he laid his head still on her lap. But her personality said otherwise.
Late night devil put your hands on me
The two laid in their shared bed, the only thing covering their skin was the silk sheets above them. Although Haneul was sleeping peacefully, moonlight reflecting off of her skin. Doyoung laid awake. He couldn't get sleep knowing the toxicity of his relationship. He loved the woman a lot. But it hurt him to know that she may not reciprocate those feelings.

Then you turn into someone I don't know
Through all of the ups and downs the two have been through. Doyoung ignored all the downs and focused on the ups. The male even considered marrying and spending the rest of his life with the woman. But he'd push away all those thoughts when she'd turn cold. "I hate you" the girl said screaming and crying as she pounded her fist against the males chest.
Fight so dirty, but you love so sweet
Doyoung could clearly see that the relationship was toxic. He could see that the relationship may never go back to the way it was before. Despite the hurtful things Haneul would say to him, Doyoung sought to see the positive side of things. Hopeful that the happy moments the two cherished can outweigh the negative ones. Doyoung tries his best to prove to himself that the relationship can workout.
Never, never, never, ever let go
Though the relationship is toxic and not good for either of them. Doyoung refuses to let go of Haneul.
