Thou Shall Love Erin

Prologue

"Unbelievable!" I exclaimed as the movie has just ended. I wasn't satisfied with the last part. I slowly close my laptop as my energy gets low watching movies along the rainy day. Ideas are running in my mind having a better ending that possibly could.

"Hala! Nasobrahan ko ata!" Napasapo ako sa noo ko nang makitang 2:44 AM na pala. May pasok pa 'ko bukas!

I got up from my bed and fixed my messy things first before going to sleep. At tsaka hindi mabuting matulog agad pagkatapos magbabad sa electronic devices, well for me it definitely ruin my eyes. It took me 15 mins. to completely finish. I dragged my body into my bed and blankly stared my bright ceiling.

Dumapa ako sa kama at inabot ang pocket diary ko. It is exactly the diary that fits into my taste with the shade of light pink. The design is so minimalist, a small but colorful butterfly is placed in the center, and below it, there's my initials. Aw. I adore my diary so much.

Dear Mimo,

Okay! I got no plans for today. Literally, I am just at my room the whole day and I think this is not healthy anymore. Yet still, I'm happy that I spent my time watching movies in Netflix! But maybe, I should try something new that surely may benefit myself ofc. xD

Tell me I'm becoming ambitious now but I want to write some stories! Well, I have a huge problem tho. I don't know how to start it. I couldn't deny that it isn't align neither with my hobbies nor skills but whatevah I'll try it, in the soonest.

It's already 3:02 AM. I'll will wake up in the morning at exactly 6:00 AM, I hope so. Brrr. 'Till next time.

Tinu-torture ko na ata sarili ko. Tumawa ako nang pilit. "For real Erin? 6:00 AM ha? Syempre kaya mo 'yan! Sisiw lang 'yan sa'yo aba." Ako lang mag-isa rito kaya ako na rin mismo magbibigay ng pag-asa sa sarili ko.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at agad sinet ang mahiwaga kong alarm clock. 5:50 AM, on! 5:55 AM, on! 5:56 AM, on! 5:57 AM, on! 5:58 AM, on! 5:59 AM, on! 6:00 AM, on! Okay naman na siguro 'to.

Walang bubunganga sa'king nanay dahil naka apartment akong mag-isa. My friends knew me as an independent woman, hindi ako humihingi ng tulong sa iba kung alam kong kaya ko naman. Well that's me.

Humiga na 'ko at huminga nang malalim. "Let's do this self! Bring it on!" Nasabi ko pa bago ako nakatulog.

"Weak naman pala 'tong alarm clock ko! Mas nauna pa akong nagising! Tsk. Ako na lang ata maging alarm clock. Tamang gawa ng ingay lang." Kahit ayaw pang bumangon ng katawan ko at gusto ko pang magpalamon sa kama ko, wala akong magawa kung hindi bumangon kasi maaga ang klase ko ngayon.

Nakikipagtitigan muna ako sa mga niluto kong hotdog, egg at fried rice, dahil tulog lang talaga ang kailangan ko ngayon, bago ako kumain.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror while brushing my wavy black hair. I'm satisfied with my outfit though. I'm just wearing a white crop sweatshirt that was tucked with denim tattered pants and wore a white sneakers.

"Hoy Erin!" Napabalikwas at nagulantang ako dahil sa malakas na sigaw.

"Saan ang sunog?!" Natarantang sabi ko. I was expecting to see people running or one of our building in school is on fire. Nagtawanan mga kaklase ko. Naman oh!

"Gaga ano nahithit mo? Hindi pa nagsisimula first period natutulog ka na?! Tell me, nasa bahay ka ba?!" I rolled my eyes on Eden with her non-sense queries.
